PAPPY YOKUM (Dogpatch / Al Capp) composition bank

  In 1975, Al Capp Enterprises authorized the production of four composition banks featuring Dogpatch characters, including Li'l Abner, Daisy Mae, Mammy Yokum, and this one of Pappy Yokum.  (We have one or two of the others in stock at this time as well.)  Pappy is shown standing atop a tan square boulder as he eats a sandwich.  He is wearing a bright red shirt, light blue pants that are open at the top, a brown belt, white socks, and tan boots.  This item stands 7" tall and is in near mint condition.   There are a few tiny specks of paint missing on the back of Pappy's shirt and some light wear on the paper Dogpatch decal on the front of the bank.  The composition is in perfect condition and the original generic black rubber stopper is present on the bottom of the bank.

PAPPY YOKUM (Dogpatch / Al Capp) doll

  This is a 13.5" vinyl doll of Pappy Yokum, originally manufactured along with Li'l Abner and Mammy Yokum counterparts (which we also have in stock at this time).  Pappy Yokum wears a red-and-white striped cloth shirt, a turquoise felt vest, blue cloth pants with a yellow yarn-like belt, and brown soft vinyl/rubber boots.  He is complete and free of damage, with minor paint loss on his goatee and hair.  He has a small stain on his vest, as seen in the photograph.  This might come off with a careful cleaning, but we did not try that for fear of damaging the vest.  Pappy Yokum retains his original manufacturer's label, which is in great shape and sewn securely into his left hip.  It shows that he was manufactured by Baby Barry Toy.  This is a 1950s item that, overall, is in NM- to NM condition.  If you decide to purchase Pappy Yokum along with Mammy Yokum and Li'l Abner in a single transaction, we will discount the price for the three of them to $335 for you.

PATTY (Peanuts) pinback button

  This is a VERY rare, vintage-era pinback button of the now-defunct Peanuts character, Patty.  Since the character was discontinued from the comic strip fairly early on, in all likelihood, this is a 1950s item.  The button itself is 1" in diameter and was part of a much larger Peanuts character set. We currently have Shermy, Violet, and Linus in stock as well.  The Patty button is a yellowish-cream color with a black image of Patty's face, smiling, and with a bow on the right side of her hair.  The copyright information is provided along the lower rim of the button.  It does not indicate who made this item, though.  This item is in nearly perfect condition, with only tiny, minor signs of discoloration appearing underneath the plastic overglaze.

COST = $9           BOXED WEIGHT: <2 POUNDS          ITEM NUMBER = 0901200

PATTY DUKE doll

  This beautiful, amazing find is a 7.5" jointed vinyl doll of Patty Duke, credited on the top of the box as being from The Patty Duke Show, where she played both Patty and her cousin, Cathy.  She wears a red bow in her hair, a red fuzzy sweater with a white collar, black-and-white herring-bone Capri slacks, and red shoes.  She sits with a pink telephone in her lap.  This doll is in PERFECT, mint condition and has never been removed from her original box.  The original cellophane is present and intact on all sides of the box except the front, where the cellophane has a slice in it.  This is the item's one and only flaw.  (Doll is perfect, box is perfect)  This Patty/Cathy doll comes with a signed photograph of Patty Duke inside of it.  The item was manufactured by Horsman in 1965.

PEBBLES (Flintstones / Hanna Barbera) jointed vinyl Dakin doll

  When the picture of this item was taken, the bright coloring got washed out a good amount.   Please rest assured that Pebbles is NOT faded at all.  She has bright orange hair, a lavender shirt adorned with dark blue, red, and dark yellow marks, and black shorts.  Her head, arms, and legs are made of vinyl.  Her shirt and shorts are made of velvet.  Pebbles is 7.25" tall and is jointed at the arms and neck.   She was manufactured by the R. Dakin Company in 1970 as part of a set of Flintstones-related figures that included Fred Flintstone, Barney Rubble, Hoppy Hoparoo, Bamm Bamm Rubble, Baby Puss, and Dino.  (We have several of these in stock at present.)  Pebbles has some minor and very faint paint wear on her hair and two tiny tears (less than 1/4" each) in the thin velvet of her shorts.  In every other way, she is in perfect condition.  Overall, therefore, she grades as being in NM- condition.

PEPE LePEW (Warner Brothers) composition musical

  During the early 1970s, Holiday Fair manufactured several series of composition Looney Tunes items, including banks, jewelry boxes, musicals, pencil sharpeners and holders, and staplers.  Distinguishing the items in these series were the odd, usually brilliantly-colored depictions of the characters themselves.  This is definitely one such example:  It is the Pepe LePew musical.  Pepe himself is neon pink in color, with green eye shadow, a black hat with a pink flower in it, a black tuxedo and a purple bowtie.  He stands atop a grassy area holding onto an oversized yellow-orange bottle of Joy perfume that has a large purple and pink butterfly on it.  When the base is wound, the musical revolves and plays Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head.   The musical revolves just fine and plays the song clearly, although a bit slowly.   This item is in NM- condition, with a few tiny specks of paint loss being its most significant problems.  It is a very nice example of a VERY tough to find Pepe LePew collectible item!
