FAT ALBERT (Filmation) doll

I'm a 'Cosby Kid' on it in white lettering, blue jeans, a black belt, and sneakers.  It appears that he has never been removed from his box (or if he was, he was played with VERY gently by his previous owner) and seems to be in perfect condition.  The box itself is complete and in nice shape too, with some edge and corner wear, but no damage.  This doll was manufactured by Remco in 1985 along with three other Cosby Kid dolls.  We also have the Little Bill doll in this set in stock at this time.  If you decide to buy both Fat Albert and Little Bill in a single transaction, we'll discount the purchase price on the pair to $170 for you.

FELIX THE CAT stuffed straw doll

This is an OLD 11" doll of Felix the Cat, with a hard straw-stuffed body, thin white cloth bow tied around his neck, black plastic nose, white plastic eyes, and stitched white teeth.   There is no tag indicating who made this item, although we have been told that it was an English company.  This is the Felix the Cat of old, where he looked like an angry, hunched over rat more than the happy-go-lucky cat that he usually was in the middle and later cartoons that featured him.  There is one small area (about 1/8" wide and about 2/3" long) on the underside of his cheek where the black felt has worn a bit thin.  None of the stuffing is coming out of this area and there is no apparent risk of this happening.  Otherwise, Felix is in perfect condition.  Overall, he probably merits a grading of EX+.  He's a real beauty, especially for such an old, rare item!

FELIX THE CAT squeak toy

f0500051.jpg (15934 bytes)  This is a 6" vinyl squeak toy of Felix the Cat, being offered to you in mint condition, sealed in its original package.  The paper header card shows an image of Felix smiling and holding his right hand to his mouth--just as he is shown on the actual squeak toy itself.  Felix has a neon yellow face, neon yellow hands, a red smile, and a red vest.  The entire rest of him is black.  He is holding his raised tail with his left hand.  This item was manufactured by Irwin during the 1950s.  The only thing to note about the condition of this item other than that it has never been removed from the package is that Felix's face is indented a little bit, for no apparent reason.   This squeak toy is relatively rare, but it is a truly uncommon find with its original packaging!

FERDINAND THE BULL (Walt Disney) tin wind-up toy

If you are a Ferdinand the Bull collector, a vintage-era Walt Disney collector, or a collector of tin wind-up toys, they don't come much nicer than this one for you!  This is a 1938 tin wind-up toy of Ferdinand the Bull.  Amazingly enough, he is 100% complete and 100% original, including his curved rubber horns, his cloth yellow flower in his mouth, and the metal butterfly on his rear left rump.  When wound up, his tail spins, which causes the toy to hop around the tabletop.  The spinning mechanism works fine, although it sometimes needs a gentle push to get it going; once it starts, though, it has a smooth rotating motion.  There are a few small scratches in the litho, but they are minor and few in number.  This item bears the highly-coveted Walt Disney Enterprises copyright marking, indicating that it is one of the earliest Walt Disney toys ever manufactured.  It was manufactured by Louis Marx.  Best of all, it comes with its original box.  The box is complete and its worst side is shown in the picture.  It has attractive graphics of Ferdinand in the forest.  The box has a moderate amount of edge wear and a few punctured areas, but is complete, usable, and very displayable . . . and extremely rare.  Ferdinand himself is in NM- to NM condition; his box is in VG- condition.  As vintage Walt Disney collectibles go, they don't get much nicer--or much rarer--than this one!

FLIP THE FROG (Ub Iwerks) ceramic planter -- running from bird

This is a VERY RARE 1930s-era ceramic planter of Flip the Frog, standing 3.5" tall and 4.25" wide.  The entire planter is colored black and white, and these appear to be the item's original colors.  In raised imagery on the front of the planter, Flip the Frog is shown running away from an angry bird of some kind--perhaps a peacock or a small airborne turkey.  The back of the planter is shaped and painted like a fence.   This item has no damage anywhere on it, and there are only a few very small spots of very minor paint loss.  Overall, it is in near mint condition and is a very attractive example of an old, rare item.

FLOUNDER (Little Mermaid / Walt Disney) bank

This is a 6.25" hard vinyl bank showing Flounder looking upward and smiling, as he rests his cheeks on his front flippers, atop a block of pale blue coral with pink barnacles on it.  The bank's coin slot is located beside Flounder's upper fin, and the original stopper is present.  This item was manufactured sometime during the 1990s along with Ariel and Sebastian counterparts.  The copyright information does not indicate who made it.  Flounder is in NM to NM+ condition, with a few small scratches on the right side of his blue stripes being the item's only flaw.

FLOWER (Bambi / Walt Disney) ceramic figurine

This beautiful item is a 4.5" ceramic figurine of Bambi's skunk friend, Flower.  He is shown standing on his hind legs, tail curled up and raised in the air behind him, as he looks sweetly upward and toward his left.  Flower has blue eyes and otherwise is entirely black, white, and grey in color.  He was manufactured by Shaw / American Pottery during the 1940s along with Bambi and other Walt Disney cartoon character counterparts.  Although it is not shown in the picture, Flower retains his original foil sticker from the manufacturer, on his other side's hind quarter.  The sticker has some fading and a small tear on top of it, but hey, it's present and his name is completely legible!  This item is free of damage and paint wear, leaving it in mint condition.

FLOWER (Bambi / Walt Disney) wall hanging

This is a 7.75" pressed cardboard wall hanging showing Flower sitting on a grassy patch of lavender and pink flowers.  This item was manufactured by Dolly Toy Company sometime during the 1960s or 1970s as part of a larger set of Bambi and friends wall hangings.  (We have several of the items in this set in stock at this time.)  Flower is in EX+ condition, with light surface wear on the paper litho and some uplifting of the corner of the tail being the item's main flaws.

FLOWER (Bambi / Walt Disney) plush doll

This is an 8" stuffed plush doll of Bambi's friend, Flower.  Flower is shown sitting with both hands and legs in front of him.  He has glued-on plastic eyes and a red ribbon tied around his neck.  He retains his original manufacturer's label, which is in great shape and sewn securely into the bottom of his left leg.  Flower was manufactured by Knickerbocker sometime during the 1970s, and he bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking.  This doll has no damage anywhere on it and wear is very minimal, leaving it in NM to NM+ condition.

FLUB-A-DUB (Howdy Doody) push puppet

Here, we are offering you a rare beauty!  It is a 4.75" wooden push puppet of Howdy Doody's friend, Flub-a-Dub.  Flub-a-Dub wears a light blue hat, has dark blue felt ears, and a red body.  There is also the stub of what was probably a thin black felt tail remaining on Flub-a-Dub's rear end as well.  When the wooden disk on the underside of the scarlet plastic base is depressed, Flub-a-Dub collapses at the joints.  The collapsing action of this push puppet works just fine.  The gold lettering on the front of the push puppet's base is in very nice condition.  Perhaps best of all, this item comes with its very-tough-to-find original box.  The box is only in Fair condition, with one closure missing and one present but separated from the "body" of the box.  This toy was manufactured by Kohner Bros. sometime during the 1950s along with Clarabell, Mr. Bluster, and Howdy Doody counterparts.  Flub-a-Dub is in near mint condition . . . perfect other than the absent small tail part.
