GALEN (Planet of the Apes) bank

  This is a 10.5" hard vinyl bank of Galen from the 1960s movie The Planet of the Apes.  Originally, this item was sold along with a Dr. Zaius counterpart.  Galen is shown standing against a tattered brick wall with part of a building column resting by his left leg.  He wears a brown jacket with a yellow insignia on the chest and has brown pants.  The bank's coin slot is located on top of the brick wall behind him and the original plastic stopper is present underneath the base.  This bank is free of damage and has only minor paint loss, leaving it in near mint condition.  It was manufactured by Play Pal Plastics in 1974.

GARFIELD Christmas ornament -- jack-in-the-box

  This is a 2.5" resin Christmas ornament showing Garfield as the popping-out part of a jack-in-the-box.  He wears a Santa Claus hat and is perched atop a spring.  This item is in mint condition and it remains stored inside of its original box with the cellophane window.  The box has fun graphics showing Garfield, and indicates that this ornament was entitled Cat-in-the-Box when it was manufactured by Enesco.  This item probably dates to the 1980s and it was manufactured as part of a larger collection of Garfield Christmas ornaments.

GARFIELD bank –– silver coin heap

  This is a 6" heavy-duty ceramic bank showing Garfield gleefully popping out of a silver heap of coins, holding some in each of his raised hands, while being flanked by green money bags. This item is in mint condition and it comes with its original black rubber stopper and its original colorful hang tag. Garfield was manufactured by Paws and he probably dates to sometime in the 2000s.

GARFIELD hugger doll -- Easter Bunny

  This cute item is a 4.5" plush hugger doll of Garfield, who is dressed like the Easter Bunny, complete with a fuzzy white cottontail and white ears with pink insides.  His arms are positioned tightly together, enabling him to be affixed to any thin, sturdy surface to hug it.  This doll is in NM+ condition and was manufactured by Dakin sometime during the 1980s.

GARFIELD smiling face bank

  This is a 4.5" hard vinyl bank showing Garfield's smiling face, with wide open eyes and a big, toothy grin.  The bank's coin slot is located behind Garfield's ears and the original stopper is present on the underside.  This item is in NM+ condition, with a spot of paint loss on Garfield's nose being its only flaw.  It was manufactured by Paws in 2002.

GARFIELD vinyl Santa Claus figure

  This is a 6.75" hard vinyl figure of Garfield, who is shown wearing a Santa Claus outfit with fuzzy white trim and a black crushed velvet belt.  The figure is in NM+ condition and it appears never to have been played with.  It retains its original cardboard hang tag.  Garfield was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1990s.  Originally, he sold for $5.99 according to the original price sticker which remains in place on the back of the hang tag.

GARFIELD wooden Christmas ornament -- inside drum

  This is a hand-carved wooden Christmas ornament of Garfield, who is shown popping out of the top of a drum.  In both hands, he holds gold drumsticks.  Around him is the shattered white surface of the drum, which itself is green, red, and gold.  This is a fully-licensed product that comes with its original gold foil sticker on the underside of the drum.  It was manufactured by Dakin, probably during the later 1980s or 1990s.  This item has no damage and only minor paint loss, leaving it in NM+ condition.  We have several others from this set in stock at this time as well.

GARFIELD PVC figure -- baseball player

  This is a 2.25" PVC figure showing Garfield standing with both arms raised.  He wears a blue baseball cap on his head and a brown baseball glove on his left hand.  This figure is in near mint condition, with a few small spots of minor paint loss.  It was manufactured by Applause and probably dates to the later 1980s or earlier 1990s.

GARFIELD plush doll -- remote control

  This is an 8.5" plush doll showing a contented but dazed-looking Garfield standing with a grey television remote control affixed to his right hand.  He wears a white shirt, white boxers with blue polka dots, and a red bathrobe.  His shirt says It doesn't get any better than this in red lettering.  This doll's only flaws consist of a few small spots on the front of Garfield's shirt (clearly visible in the photograph accompanying this description) and a surface smudge on the right eyelid.  It retains its original cardboard hang tag and was manufactured by Dakin sometime during the later 1980s or 1990s.

GARFIELD hugger figure

  This is a 3.5" plush hugger figure showing Garfield dressed in a white sailor's outfit, complete with shirt and hat.  The blue, block-lettering on the side of his shirt says Mom always liked me best.  Garfield's arms and hands are fashioned in such a way that they enable him to grasp onto a thin object and then hang from it.  This item was manufactured by Dakin sometime during the 1980s.  The original manufacturer's label is intact and sewn into Garfield's tail.  This item is undamaged and shows only minor signs of use or wear, leaving it in NM to NM+ condition.

GARFIELD ceramic figurine -- Capricorn

  This relatively uncommon find is a 5" ceramic figurine of Garfield who is dolled up to resemble a goat with a fishtail (go explain that!).  He represents the Capricorn sign of the zodiac in the 12-item series that Enesco released during the 1980s.  The front of the white rectangular base on which nanny-Garfield sits says An ambitious, practical person who will climb to great heights.  It's the climb down that's hard for this sign.  The figurine is undamaged and in near mint condition, with small spots of minor paint loss on Garfield's grey beard and on the tip of his turquoise fishtail.

GARFIELD plush doll -- fireman

  This is a 9.5" plush doll showing Garfield standing with his arms outstretched from his sides.  He wears a red faux leather fireman's hat with a yellow felt pentagonal shield on it saying G Brigade in black lettering.  The doll is in NM- condition, with age-related wear on the hat and some light smudge marks on Garfield's plastic eyeballs being his main flaws.  This doll was manufactured by Dakin sometime during the 1980s.  The original manufacturer's label is present and in nice condition, sewn securely into Garfield's rear end.

GARFIELD Christmas ornament -- as snowman

  This is a 3.25" resin Christmas ornament showing Garfield as a snowman, complete with twig arms and a black hat with a sprig of holly on the side.  His "coal" spells out the year of production / release (1990) on his bottom ball.  This item is in mint condition and it comes with its original clear-plastic protective insert and its original box.  Garfield was manufactured by Enesco and was named Frosty Garfield by the manufacturer at the time of production.

GARFIELD figurine -- welcome

  This tougher-to-find item is a 3.5" ceramic figurine showing Garfield grinning slightly as he pokes through the pink shutters of a heart-shaped window that is flanked by pink-and-red flowers.  Beneath him, in raised-relief capital letters, it says Welcome.  This figurine was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1980s.  It is in EX condition, with two small spots of minor paint loss on the edges of the heart (visible in the photograph accompanying this description) and one small surface chip in the lower right-hand corner of the white base (shown but not easily visible in the photograph).

  This is a 10.5" plush doll showing Garfield as the life of the party, complete with a beige lampshade on his head.  He wears a green-and-yellow checked jacket and a pink bowtie with black polka dots on it.  This doll is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Dakin sometime during the 1980s.

GARFIELD Irish coffee mug

  This very unusual find is a 4" ceramic Irish coffee mug featuring Garfield.  He sits with a yellow lyre in his lap, and as he plays and makes the music, shamrocks rather than musical notes form off of the sides of the musical staff.  Above his image, Ireland appears in green lettering; below his image, his name appears in red lettering.  This item is in mint condition and it retains its original gold foil manufacturer's sticker.  It was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1980s.

GARFIELD melted mug -- crush on you

  This is a 3.75" ceramic "melted" mug, primarily white in color with a red base.  It shows Garfield poking through a pink heart.  The lavender caption says I've got a crush on you, Valentine.  This item has a single paint scratch (visible in the photograph accompanying this description) and is otherwise in perfect condition.  Garfield was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1980s, and he still retains his original gold foil copyright sticker.

GARFIELD plush doll -- Santa Claus

  This is an 8.5" plush doll of Garfield, who is shown as a seated Santa Claus whose arms are spread wide apart.  The doll is in mint condition and remains sealed inside of its original packaging.  It was released as a promotional item by McDonald's fast food restaurants and probably dates to the 1990s.

  This is an 11.5" plush doll of chef Garfield, who wears a poofy white chef's hat and a white bib with red lettering that says The best things in life are edible! in red block lettering.  He even has a plastic spoon affixed to his left hand.  This doll is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Dakin sometime during the 1980s.

GARFIELD Christmas ornament -- in Santa hat

  This is a 3" ceramic Christmas ornament showing Garfield sitting on his haunches, with his left hand extended.  He grins gently and is wearing a Santa Claus hat.  This item was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1980s.  It is in NM+ condition, with no damage of any kind anywhere on it.  This ornament retains its original gold lame hanging cord and its original clear copyright sticker.

GARFIELD plush doll -- detective / Sam Spade

  This fun item is an 11" plush doll of Garfield, who is shown with a sly grin on his face.  He wears a soft grey hat and a matching cloth trenchcoat, so that he resembles either a detective or, more specifically, Sam Spade.  This doll is in mint condition and it still retains its original cardboard hang tag, which remains affixed to the left side of Garfield's hat. This item was manufactured by Dakin sometime during the later 1980s or earlier 1990s.

GARFIELD wooden Christmas ornament -- jester

  This is a 2.5" wooden Christmas ornament showing Garfield dressed as a jester.  He sits on his haunches with his arms extended from his sides.  He wears a green neck ruffle and a red, yellow, and green jester's hat with metallic bells on the ends of the hat's points.  This item is in virtually perfect condition and it retains its original gold foil manufacturer's sticker and its original thin gold lame hanging cord.  It was manufactured by Dakin sometime during the 1990s as part of a larger set of Garfield wooden ornaments.

GARFIELD alarm clock

  This is a 6.75" metallic twin-bell alarm clock with a plastic face, showing Garfield from the neck upward.  Below the numeral 12, there is a black paw print.  The clock is in mint condition and it remains sealed inside of its original box.  The box retains all of the original cardboard protective inserts, and there is a possibility that this item has never been used before.  It was manufactured by Sunbeam sometime during the earlier 1990s.

  This is a 9.5" plush doll showing Garfield as a skier, holding two red plastic skis in front of him.  He wears a red, green, and white ski cap and a scarf to match.  This doll was manufactured by Dakin sometime during the 1980s.  It is in NM+ condition, with minor wear on Garfield's plastic eyeballs being his only flaw.

  This is a 2.25x3.5" ceramic Christmas ornament showing Garfield resting on his side, holding onto a large red-and-white striped candy cane.  This ornament retains its original gold lame hanging cord and its original gold foil manufacturer's sticker, and is in virtually perfect condition.  Garfield was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1980s.

GARFIELD coffee cup / mug -- vote Republican

  This is a 3.5" glazed earthenware coffee cup / mug showing Garfield sitting beside an elephant.  The mug is white with two sets of three red stripes, and in patriotic lettering, it says Vote Republican.  The reverse side of the mug shows Garfield on the caboose of a train, saying A chicken in every pot . . . a lasagna in every pan.  This item is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1980s.

GARFIELD red hot lover coffee cup

  This is a 3.5" ceramic coffee cup showing Garfield dressed as a pitchfork-wielding devil, dragging a yellow sack of overflowing lavender hearts.  He is labeled the Last of the Red Hot Lovers, and the inside of the mug says Red Hot in red lettering.  This mug even has a heart-shaped handle!  It is in mint condition and was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1980s or earlier 1990s.

  This is a 9" plush doll of Garfield, who wears a black mortarboard with a black tassel.  He also wars a pink Hawaiian-style shirt with blue flowers as he holds a fruity drink in his right hand.  This item is in virtually perfect condition.  It was manufactured by Dakin sometime during the 1980s.

  This is a 9.5" plush doll of Garfield, who is shown preparing for bathtime.  He wears a green terry cloth bathrobe and holds a stuffed red back brush with a white "scrubbing" pompon in his left hand and a white towel with a red band in his right hand.  This doll is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Dakin sometime during the 1980s.

GARFIELD hugging doll -- fool

  This is a 4.25" plush hugging figure of Garfield, whose hands are held firmly together by metal bars inside of the plush.  These enable him to grab onto and "hug" any thin, firm object.  Garfield wears a red sash that says Fool for a hug on it in white, block lettering.  This item probably dates to the 1980s, but there is no indication anywhere on it as to who made it or when it was manufactured.  Garfield is in nearly perfect condition.

GARFIELD ceramic greeting card

  This "different" item is a 4.25" tall ceramic greeting card, intended for use as a Father's Day gift.  It shows Garfield sitting and pondering on the left side and gleefully celebrating on the right side.  The black, block-lettering captions say Dad, you're perfect.  You couldn't be better . . . Maybe a little richer.  Happy Father's Day!  This item is in mint condition and it retains its original gold foil copyright sticker on the back of the card.  It was manufactured by Enesco during the 1980s.

  This is a 3.25" glazed earthenware coffee cup / mug showing Garfield wielding a huge syringe.  In blue lettering, the backdrop behind him labels him as the World's Greatest Nurse.  This item is in virtually perfect condition and it retains its original gold foil copyright sticker.  Garfield was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1980s.

  This hard vinyl figure of Garfield stands 5.5" tall, with additional height added when the tan felt reindeer antlers are raised above Garfield's head.  He also wears a green floral wreath/necklace, and is shown standing with his arms extended sideways from his body.  This item is in virtually perfect condition and it comes with its original cardboard hang tag.  Garfield was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1990s.  He originally sold for $5.99 according to the original price sticker that is attached to the back of his hang tag.

GARFIELD trophy -- Mother's Day

  This is a 4.75" plastic trophy showing Garfield gorging himself on a box of Mother's Day chocolates.  In black cursive lettering, the writing on the metallic face plate on the front of the trophy's black rectangular base says Happy Mother's Day.  This item is in mint condition and it still retains its original red felt protective undercovering and its original gold foil manufacturer's sticker.  Garfield was made by Aviva sometime during the 1980s.

GARFIELD trophy -- nap attack

  This is a 4.5" plastic trophy showing Garfield pouncing onto a white pillow with a blue blanket flying off of it due to his pouncing motion.  Left hand and index finger raised (do cats have index fingers?!), Garfield is saying Nap Attack!  This item was manufactured during the early 1980s by Aviva as part of a larger collection of Garfield trophies, each showing him in a different pose and bearing a different, appropriate caption on the metallic face plate on the trophy's black rectangular base.  This item retains its original gold foil manufacturer's label and its original red felt protective covering underneath the base.  It is undamaged and appears to be lighter in color than many Garfield items, perhaps due to slight fading.  If this is fading-related, then this item is in NM- to NM condition; if it is not fading-related, then the item is in NM+ condition.

  This is a 4.25" ceramic figurine showing Garfield salivating over a cocoa-brown birthday cake with maple-colored icing.  His tongue sticks out of the right side of his mouth and his eyes are opened wide in delight.  He wears a blue hat and the side of the cake says Happy Birthday on it in white lettering.  This item was manufactured sometime during the 1980s by Enesco, and the original gold foil manufacturer's sticker is present underneath the base.  This item has no damage and just a few very small spots of minor paint loss, leaving it in NM to NM+ condition.

  This is a 6" ceramic bank showing Garfield sitting with his silver knife and fork held in the air, awaiting his next meal.  Around his neck, he wears a red napkin/bandanna that says Feed the Kitty in black, block lettering.  The bank's coin slot is located on top of Garfield's head and the original generic black rubber stopper is present underneath the bank.  This item was manufactured during the 1980s by Enesco, and the original gold foil copyright sticker is present underneath the bank, too.  Garfield is completely free of damage and the only wear is on the Feed the Kitty lettering on his napkin/bandanna.  Overall, this item is in near mint condition.

  This is a 2.5" PVC figure showing Garfield as a casually-whistling jogger wearing light blue sneakers with white laces and soles.  His bubble caption says I Win.  This item is in mint condition and it comes with its original cardboard mounting card and its original clear-plastic blisterpack.  Garfield's blisterpack has some damage along the lower edge, but the mounting card only has minor edge wear and he himself is in perfect condition.  This item was manufactured by Dakin as part of its Fun Farm set, and it probably dates to the 1980s.

  This is a 7" plush doll showing Garfield sitting on all fours.  He wears a white cloth chef's hat and a white bib that says I Love Lasagna! in red block lettering.  This item was manufactured by Dakin sometime during the 1980s.  It is in near mint condition, with minor evidence of light play wear being its only flaw.  Garfield's original manufacturer's label is present and in nice condition, sewn securely to his underside.

  It's tough to say whether this Garfield is the magician or the magician's assistant, but either way, he holds a black top hat with a light blue band in front of him, as a white plush rabbit pops out of the hat.  This item is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Dakin sometime during the 1980s.

  This is a 6.5" heavy-duty resin picture frame with a red frame that is adorned with six sets of five white lines.  On top, there is a raised-relief image of Garfield clad in a Santa Claus suit.  He angles a green ball-style Christmas ornament that has a grey mouse attached to it.  This item is in mint condition and it comes with its original box.  The box has fun graphics showing various expressions of Garfield's face.  As the photograph accompanying this description shows, the box has a large surface tear on it; but it is intact and in Fair to Good condition overall.  This Garfield item was manufactured by Burton and Burton, and it probably dates to the 1990s or earlier 2000s.

GARFIELD ceramic figurine -- ski bum

  This is a nearly 4.5" ceramic figurine of Garfield, who is shown leaning forward as he skis on his red skis, metallic ski poles in both hands.  The black caption on the front of his white snowy base says Ski Bum.  This item was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1980s.  The figurine is undamaged although there are some very minor factory irregularities regarding the smoothness of the edging on the underside of the base (visible only when the item is turned upside down).  Garfield's skis have minor paint loss, leaving the item in no worse than EX+ condition overall.

GARFIELD basketball player figurine

  This is a 2.75" ceramic figurine of Garfield holding a basketball in front of him.   It was manufactured by Enesco during the 1980s as part of a larger set of sports-themed Garfield figurines, many others of which we also have in stock at this time.   This figurine is in mint condition and still retains the original gold foil manufacturer's sticker on the underside.

GARFIELD snowdome

    This is a 4.5" plastic snowdome showing Garfield wearing a Santa Claus hat on his head, flopping off toward his right side.  His right hand and index finger are raised, as if he is about to make some profound point.  When the snowdome is shaken, small white plastic pellets float around to make it appears as if it is snowing on Garfield Claus.  This item was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1980s.  It is in NM+ condition.  As you can see from the second image, we also happen to have this item available for purchase along with its original box.  The snowdome itself is in virtually perfect condition.  The box has some magic marker writing on it and edge/flap wear, but it remains intact and generally in decent condition.

GARFIELD resin figurine -- in birdhouse

  This is a 3.75" resin figurine showing Garfield sitting on the limb of a dead tree trunk, with his head inside of a grey birdhouse with a maroon roof.  Beside him, a bluebird looks at him, a does a squirrel.  This item is in mint condition.  It was manufactured in 1993 by Danbury Mint as part of a larger set of Garfield collectibles.  This particular figurine was named Open House by the manufacturer, as indicated on the gold foil sticker that remains intact on the underside of the figurine's base.

GARFIELD plush doll -- tooth fairy

  This fun Garfield plush doll is 9.5" tall.  It shows him sitting and smiling broadly, baring one of his recently-lost upper teeth.  Garfield wears a white bowtie with orange Pookie images on it, and he holds a stuffed cloth tooth in his left hand.  The tooth says Tooth Fairy on it in mustard-colored lettering.  This doll is in virtually perfect condition and it comes with its original manufacturer's label (in nice condition and sewn into Garfield's left hind quarter) and its original cardboard hang tag (in nice condition and affixed to his left ear).  It was manufactured by Dakin sometime during the later 1980s or earlier 1990s.

GARFIELD plush doll -- maroon bathrobe

  This is a 10.5" plush doll showing Garfield sitting up on his haunches with a contented expression on his face.  He wears a maroon bathrobe.  This doll is in NM+ condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is also in nice condition and sewn securely into Garfield's rear end.  He was manufactured by Dakin sometime during the 1980s.

GARFIELD basketball player doll

  This is a 9.5" plush doll of Garfield the basketball player.  He wears a red cotton cloth jersey with white trim and a white numeral 1 on the front.  In his right hand, he holds a stuffed basketball (which is sewn onto his hand and body).  Garfield has sprigs of black yarn for hair beside his ears and glued-on plastic eyes and nose.  He was manufactured by R. Dakin Company during the 1980s as part of a much larger collection of Garfield dolls.  This item is in EX+ to NM- condition.  It retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in great shape and sewn securely into Garfield's behind.  There are a few very small scratches in the paint on his plastic face and some very light soiling of his plush from being played with over the years.  This doll is free of damage.

GARFIELD bell -- presents are my life

  This is a 4.75" ceramic bell commemorating Christmas of 1989.  It shows Garfield wearing a Santa Claus outfit as he holds a green sack in front of him.  He is perched atop a snow-capped dome with a holly trim along the lower edge.  The front of the bell says, in red lettering, Presents are my life!  This item is in mint condition and it comes with its original hang tag and its original box, both of which have some wear but both of which are generally in nice condition.  This item was manufactured by Enesco.
