  This odd-looking cloth doll of Big Bird is 4.75" tall.  It shows him with both arms raised, as if in a bank hold-up, and with a flattened-down beak.  The doll is in mint condition.  There is no indication anywhere on it as to who made Big Bird or when he was manufactured, although our best guess is that this is a 1990s piece.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) PVC figure -- reading

  This is a 2.75" PVC figure showing Big Bird sitting with his legs crossed while he reads a blue book entitled Birds.  This item is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Applause sometime during the 1980s or 1990s.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) Christmas ornament -- skiing

  This is a 4" composition Christmas ornament showing Big Bird bent forward on a pair of silver skis, with his red scarf blowing behind him in his draft.  He holds silver ski poles with green rubber rings and has a mound of snow beneath his rear end and behind his legs.  This item is in mint condition and is still sealed inside of its original packaging.  It was manufactured by Kurt S Adler in 1998 as part of a larger collection of Muppets / Sesame Street character Christmas ornaments.  We have a few of the others in this set in stock at this time, too.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) PVC figure -- schoolboy

  This is a 3.75" PVC figure showing Big Bird as a schoolboy who waves with his left hand as he holds a boom box underneath his right arm.  The figure is in mint condition and has never been removed from its original packaging.  It was manufactured by Fisher Price in 2001.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) plush doll

  This is an 11.5" plush doll of Big Bird, who has bulbous plastic eyes, pink-and-orange striped legs, and a curly tail behind him.  This doll was manufactured by Applause in 1993.  Big Bird retains his original manufacturer's label, which shows some signs of fraying along the edges but which is still entirely legible and sewn securely into his left hip.  This doll is undamaged and has minor surface soiling from being played with over the years, as well as one small spot of paint loss on the top of Big Bird's left eyeball.  Overall, it is in no worse than near mint condition.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) cake pan -- with gift

  This is a 16" aluminum cake pan showing Big Bird sitting with his legs extended in front of him as he opens a gift box.  The item was manufactured in 1978 by Wilton along with other Sesame Street / Muppets character cake pans.  Big Bird is undamaged and in near mint condition, with some minor surface marks from having been moved about over the years.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) jack-in-the-box

  This is a 10" plastic jack-in-the-box showing Big Bird playing a blue guitar.  The sides of the box have paper appliqué decals that show Bert playing a fiddle, Ernie in a straw hat holding a microphone, Big Bird playing a banjo, Oscar the Grouch playing a flute, Grover playing a bass, and the Cookie Monster playing the cookie jar jug.  When the lid is closed and blue crank is wound, the jack-in-the-box plays the song Pop Goes the Weasel.  The music works properly and Big Bird pops up at the proper time in the song.  This item was manufactured by Hasbro for Playskool in 1986.  It has some minor wear on the decal, but no damage of any kind anywhere on it.  Overall, this toy is in NM- condition and it works just fine.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) blown glass Christmas ornament

  This is a 5.75" blown glass Christmas ornament showing Big Bird standing and wearing a Santa Claus hat as he holds a stack of wrapped and colorful Christmas gifts in front of him.  The ornament is in virtually perfect condition.  It probably dates to the 1990s and there is no indication anywhere on this item as to who made it.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) squeak toy

  This is a 5.25" vinyl squeak toy showing Big Bird sitting with his orange feet in front of him and his wings/hands resting in different places on his belly.  When squeezed, Big Bird gives off a gentle squeaking sound.  He has just a few tiny specks of paint loss.  There is one small area on the tip of Big Bird's beak that appears like a manufacturer's mold flaw.  With that flaw, this item is in EX condition.  He was manufactured by Playskool Baby, probably during the 1980s or earlier 1990s.

  This is a 13" aluminum cake pan showing Big Bird wearing a birthday party hat as he holds onto a banner that, when the cake is made and decorated, can be used for writing something like Happy Birthday [name]! on it.  The item appears never to have been used and is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Wilton and it probably dates to the 1980s or 1990s.

  This is a 2.25" resin Christmas ornament showing Big Bird wearing a Santa Claus hat.  In front of him, he holds a red gift box with a green ribbon and bow, with a white To: Snuffy gift tag on it.  This item is in mint condition.  It was sold along with Bert/Ernie and Cookie Monster/Oscar the Grouch counterparts by Carlton Cards in 2004 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Sesame Street.

  This is a 4.5" lightweight blown resin Christmas ornament showing Big Bird leaning forward as he skis.  He wears a red scarf and silver skis, and has a pile of snow curled behind him.  This item is undamaged and in NM- condition, with a few small spots of minor paint loss (visible in the photograph accompanying this description) being its only flaw.  This Big Bird probably dates to the 1990s or earlier 2000s, and there is no indication anywhere on it as to who made it.

  This is a 3" plastic cake topper figure of Big Bird, who is shown standing on a round white base.  He wears a rusty-orange birthday hat and, in his raised left hand, holds a white birthday cake with red decoration on a white plate.  This item was manufactured by Wilton and it probably dates to the 1980s.  It is in mint condition.

  This is a 5" jointed vinyl figure of Big Bird, who has a swiveling head, swiveling torso, and movable downwardly-curved arms/wings.  This item was manufactured in 1985 by Tara Toy.  It is in NM+ condition.

  This is an 8" vinyl AM radio showing Big Bird sitting inside of his brown Sesame Street bird's nest.  He holds both hands/wings together by his belly and is looking in amazement with his beak open.  This item is in perfect working condition and retains the original yellow vinyl carrying strap and the original cover for the battery component.  Other than some minor use-related wear, this item is in perfect condition--near mint at worst.  It was manufactured during the 1970s in all likelihood (the copyright information does not specify this), and the maker is not marked on the item.

  This is a 4.5" blown resin Christmas ornament showing Big Bird wearing a Santa Claus hat and a red scarf.  He sits in a blue car with green-and-yellow tires, and is shown playing a silver flute.  The ornament is in mint, unused condition and it has never been removed from its original packaging.  Big Bird was manufactured by Kurt Adler sometime during the later 1990s or earlier 2000s.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) Cast ‘n Paint set

  This is a 9.5x6.5" sealed box containing the Big Bird Cast ‘n Paint set. This is a child’s craft kit consisting of one reusable mold, six watercolor paint tablets, a paint brush, plaster mix, and an instruction sheet. When completed, the mold creates a figure of Big Bird sitting in his bird’s nest. This is shown on the photograph appearing on the box’s front panel. This item was manufactured by Friends Industries in 1976.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) tricycle wind-up toy

  This is a 7" plastic wind-up toy showing Big Bird driving a blue tricycle with green wheels and orange pedals.  When the orange knob is wound up and Big Bird is placed on a hard, smooth surface, his tail bobs up and down and the tricycle rolls right along.  This toy was manufactured by Illco sometime during the 1980s.  It is in near mint condition and is free of damage.

  This is a 3.25" resin Christmas ornament showing Big Bird sitting with his feet extended in front of him.  He wears a Santa Claus hat and is shown holding a small Christmas tree with a yellow star on it.  This item is in mint condition.  It was manufactured sometime within the past few years, probably by Kurt Adler, although the copyright information does not indicate that specifically.

  This is a 3.25" yellow plastic cookie cutter, showing Big Bird riding a bicycle.  The item is in virtually perfect condition.  It was manufactured by Wilton as part of a larger set of Sesame Street character cookie cutters.  Although the item is not dated, our best guess is that this piece dates to the 1990s.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) rubber bendable figure

  This colorful Big Bird is made of solid rubber and stands 6.25" tall.  While Big Bird's arms are fixed in place, his orange legs with the raspberry-colored rings on them are pliable and movable.  Big Bird has no damage anywhere on him and only has a few small spots of minor paint loss, primarily on his toes.  He was manufactured by Applause.  His year of production is not marked anywhere on him, although in all likelihood, he dates to the 1980s.  Big Bird is in NM- to NM condition.

  This is a 4.5" resin Christmas ornament showing Big Bird wearing a blue cap, a blue muffler with green tassels, a red coat with white trim, red pants, and blue boots with red polka dots. In his left hand, he holds a yellow Christmas shopping list, and he holds a silver basket filled with goodies in his right arm. This item is in mint condition and it retains its original cardboard hang tag. It was manufactured by Kurt Adler in 2006.

  This is a 3.75" PVC figure showing Big Bird standing beside a large blue numeral six, as he holds six red apples . . . two in his left hand and four stacked atop one another in his right hand.  This item is in nearly perfect condition.  It was manufactured by Applause sometime during the 1980s or 1990s as part of a complete Sesame Street / Muppets character numerals set.

  This is an 11" plush doll of Big Bird, who has inset plastic eyeballs and stuffed cloth legs.  In back, there is a metallic key that, when wound, enables Big Bird to play a song (which we do not recognize). The musical mechanism works just fine on this doll, which is in near mint condition, with only minor evidence of light previous use.  Big Bird was manufactured by Knickerbocker and he probably dates to the 1970s or 1980s.

This item is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Applause sometime during the 1990s.

  This is a 3.25" ceramic Christmas ornament showing Big Bird sitting in a red sled.  He holds a red strap to steer the sled and has both legs extended out in front of him.  He wears a red, white, and green scarf around his neck as well.  This item is in NM+ condition and, best of all, comes with its original clear plastic display/storage box.  It was manufactured sometime during the 1980s or 1990s by Newcor as part of a larger collection of Muppets character ornaments.

This item is in mint condition and it comes with its original cardboard hang tag. It was manufactured by Kurt Adler in 2005.

  This is a 3.75x1.75" plastic flashlight, named one of the Bedtime Buddies by Rayovac at the time of manufacture in 1987.  It has a yellow bottom and a white top, and has an image of Big Bird wearing a red-and-white striped nightcap, waving.  This item is in mint, unused condition and it remains sealed inside of its original clear-plastic blisterpack and mounted on its original cardboard mounting card.  The mounting card has fun, colorful graphics showing Big Bird, Little Bird, and Betty Lou walking along, using their own Bedtime Buddies.  The mounting card has some curvature and edge wear, but it is intact and in nice condition.

  This is a 12.5" plush doll of Big Bird, who is shown with both arms/wings raised in the air.  He wears a red vinyl fireman's hat with a blue shield and a white numeral 1 on it.  This doll was manufactured by Knickerbocker and, although undated, it probably was manufactured sometime during the 1970s or 1980s.  Big Bird retains his original manufacturer's label, which is attached to his rear end.  The doll is in no worse than near mint condition, with minor evidence of play-related wear being its only flaw.

  This is a 7.25" bisque musical showing Big Bird standing on a white mound that is adorned with two red stripes and a perimeter of yellow flowers.  He waves with his right hand and holds a red umbrella in his left hand.  When the metal disk underneath the base is wound, the musical revolves and plays Sunny Day, the theme song to Sesame Street.  The rotation and musical mechanisms both work just fine on this item, which is in virtually perfect condition.  There is no indication anywhere on the item as to who made it or when it was manufactured, but this is probably a 1990s piece.

  This is a 5.75" glass Christmas ornament showing Big Bird standing and holding a stack of four wrapped Christmas presents.  The ornament is in mint condition and it comes with its original box, which also retains its original protective insert.  Big Bird was manufactured by Kurt Adler in 2000 as part of a larger set of Sesame Street / Muppets character ornaments.  Originally, this item sold for $7.99, according to the original price sticker that remains on the box.

  This unusual item is a ceramic planter of farmer Big Bird, driving his blue, red, and aqua tractor . . . just the way you always imagine him, huh?!  The planter is 5.5" tall, 6" long, and 3" wide.  The copyright information does not indicate who made this item or when it was manufactured.  It is probably a 1980s item.  The planter has no damage anywhere on it and just a few tiny specks of minor paint loss.  It is in NM+ condition and appears never to have been used before.

  This is a 6" plastic wind-up musical showing Big Bird sitting and waving with his left hand.  When the camera's white "lens" knob is wound up, the images above him rotate, showing Ernie, Oscar the Grouch, Grover, Betty Lou, Cookie Monster, Bert, and Big Bird.  While that happens (and that mechanism works just fine), the musical plays the song In the Neighborhood (and the music plays just fine, too).  This item was manufactured by Illco sometime during the 1980s.  It is in NM+ condition.

  Here, we are offering a 3.25" ceramic Christmas ornament of Big Bird, who is wearing a Santa Claus outfit.  He is shown in a seated position with his legs extended in front of him as he peers at the wrapped gifts inside of the tan toy sack that he has between his legs.  This item is in mint condition and, best of all, it comes with its original clear plastic display/storage box.  It was manufactured by Newcor sometime during the 1980s or 1990s as part of a larger collection of Muppets character ornaments.

  This nice find is a 7" plastic and vinyl AM/FM radio showing Big Bird sitting atop a blue oval base as he leans on an old-fashioned radio with his right arm/wing.  This item is in mint condition and it has never been removed from its original box.  The box is intact and generally in nice condition, with some edge wear from having been moved about over the years.  Originally, Big Bird cost $25.99 at K&K Toys, and then he was marked down to $14.99, based on the price stickers that remain on the box.  This item was manufactured by Justin Products in 1989.

  This is a 3" flat-backed raised-relief resin Christmas ornament showing Big Bird holding a green gift with a glittery red bow in it.  He wears a Santa Claus hat and is shown peeking out from behind the package he holds.  This item was manufactured by Kurt Adler in 2002.  It is in mint condition and comes with its original hanging cord and manufacturer's copyright label.

  This is a 6" heavy-duty ceramic bank showing Big Bird as the engineer of a locomotive.  He wears a white train engineer's hat with blue stripes on it and is shown looking off toward his right side.  The locomotive is dark blue in color with a raspberry-colored smokestack, a lighter blue front, and turquoise wheels with yellow hubcaps.  The bank's coin slot is located on top of the smokestack and the original black generic rubber stopper is present underneath the bank.  The copyright information does not indicate who made this item, which probably dates to the 1980s or 1990s.  It is free of damage and has a few small spots of paint loss.  Overall, this item is in near mint condition.

  This is a 3.25" vinyl finger puppet showing Big Bird from the neck upward, with both hands resting on his lower neck feathers.  This item is undamaged and in EX+ condition, with one small mark on Big Bird's beak and a surface area of minor darkening on one side of his neck.  There is no indication anywhere on this item as to who made it.  Big Bird is also undated, although he probably was manufactured sometime during the 1980s or 1990s.

  This unusual find is a 9" figural rattle showing Big Bird holding a large orange bag of bird seed in his hands and beak.  When shaken, this item gives off a quiet whooshing sound, almost as if it had sand rather than plastic beads inside of it.  The item is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Gabriel in 1978.

  This is a 3.75" PVC figure showing Big Bird standing with his teddy bear clutched to his right shoulder and chest.  This item is in NM+ condition.  This item was manufactured in 1987 by Tyco Preschool.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) musical

  This is a 5.5" bisque musical showing Big Bird taking a bubble bath in a grey washtub.  The washtub sits on a grassy mound and Big Bird holds a blue back brush over his right shoulder.  This item is in NM+ condition.  When the metal knob underneath the base is wound, the musical plays Row, Row, Row Your Boat.  The musical mechanism works just fine.  The remnants of the original copyright sticker are present underneath the base, but not enough of it remains to tell us who made this item or when it was manufactured.  In all likelihood, this is a 1980s item.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) Styrofoam marionette

  This nifty find is a genuinely rare item!  It is a Styrofoam make-it-yourself marionette of Big Bird.  The kit comes with all of its original pieces, including Big Bird's head, neck ball, body ball, chin ruffle, neck ruffle, wing feathers, feet, legs, and controller.  Best of all, Big Bird comes with his original instruction booklet and his original box.  The box has colorful graphics showing a young boy and a young girl enjoying their own Big Bird marionette.  The item itself is in mint, unused condition.  The box has some creasing and edge wear, but is complete, intact, and in generally nice condition.  This item was manufactured by Friends Industries Inc. in 1977.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) rolling toy -- police car

  This is a 5" plastic rolling toy showing Big Bird driving a white convertible (?!) police car with blue fenders and black tires with yellow hubcaps.  This toy was manufactured by Illco sometime during the 1990s.  When placed on a hard, smooth surface, the rolling action works just fine.  Big Bird is undamaged and he has very little wear, leaving him in NM+ condition.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) PVC figure -- mailman

  This is a 3.75" PVC figure showing Big Bird as a mailman, complete with a blue hat and a white letter with a red stamp on it in his right hand.  This item is in mint condition.  Big Bird was manufactured by Tara Toy sometime during the 1980s.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) Christmas stocking

  This is a 14.5" felt-like polyester Christmas stocking, white in color with a red top, showing Big Bird dressed as Santa Claus.  He sits in his Christmas-adorned tan bird's nest and holds a caroling book in his right hand as he sings.  Above him, there is a red banner saying Merry Christmas in yellow lettering.  This item is in near mint condition, with one faint light pink mark on the back, near the green border.  There is no indication anywhere on this copyrighted item as to who made it or when it was manufactured, but our best guess is that this is a 1990s piece.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) cookie cutter

  This is a 5.75" bright yellow plastic cookie cutter showing Big Bird standing with both wings raised in the air.  The item is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured in 1977 along with several other Sesame Street / Muppets character cookie cutters, but Big Bird's copyright information does not indicate who made him.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) PVC figure -- showman

  This is a 3.5" PVC figure showing Big Bird as a vaudeville showman.  He holds a white cane in his raised right hand, a red bowtie attached to a shirtless white collar, and a white hat with a red band across it.  His right leg is elevated slightly and his left arm is raised too.  Big Bird is free of damage and he has three spots of paint missing--one on his right toe, one on his left toe, and one on his bowtie.  Overall, he is in EX+ to NM- condition.  He was manufactured by Tara Toy, probably during the 1980s or 1990s.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) Christmas ornament -- Christmas shopping

  This is a 4.5" resin Christmas ornament showing Big Bird clad in winter gear as he does his Christmas shopping.  He wears a blue cap, a blue muffler with green ends, a Santa Claus jacket, and blue boots with pink polka dots.  In his left hand, he holds a shopping list; on his right arm, he holds an overflowing silver shopping basket.  This ornament is in mint condition and it comes with its original box and its original clear-plastic protective insert.  Big Bird was manufactured by Kurt Adler in 2006.

BIG BIRD (Sesame Street / Muppets) treasure chest bank

  This is a 4.5" tall by 5.75" long heavy-duty ceramic bank showing Big Bird sitting on the floor, peeking into his overstuffed, overflowing white-and-blue toy chest.  Poking out of the toy chest are a teddy bear, a pink telephone, an alphabet block, and some other parts.  The bank's coin slot is located on the back upper portion of the toy chest and the original black rubber stopper is present beneath it.  This item is in NM to NM+ condition, with no damage and just a few small marks on it.  It was manufactured by Applause sometime during the 1980s or earlier 1990s, and the original copyright sticker is present underneath the treasure chest.
