This is an 18"
stuffed cloth pillow-style doll of Strawberry Shortcake, who is shown standing
with both arms by her sides as she smiles sweetly. This item probably
dates to the 1980s and, in all likelihood, was a licensed home crafting
item. It is very well made and is in nearly perfect condition. There
is no indication anywhere on the doll as to who made it.

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE bisque figurine -- knitting
This is a
3.25" bisque figurine showing Strawberry Shortcake sitting on a strawberry
as she knits something that is green-and-white striped. By her right foot,
her pal, Custard, plays with her green ball of yarn. This item was named A
Little Love by WWA at the time of its release in 1981. It is in nearly
perfect condition and it comes with its original cardboard hang tag.

This is a porcelain
candy basket with metal handles. It stands 2.5" tall, with an

in mint condition. It was manufactured by WWA in 1980.

This is a package
containing two 36" shoelaces featuring Strawberry Shortcake. The
package shows Custard playing with her left shoelace while she ties the one on
her right shoe. This item is in mint, unused condition and it remains
sealed inside of its original box which says, in red lettering, One Two...Tie
My Shoe. The back (and continuing onto the side) of the package shows
Strawberry Shortcake and a few of her friends by a roadside strawberry stand,
with the captions Special Laces...Smiling Faces and Strawberry's
friends have their own laces, too! This item was manufactured in 1981
by American Greetings.

This is a
2.5x3.75" porcelain trinket box showing Strawberry Shortcake watering the
strawberry plants in her wooden window box. Behind her, the wooden
shutters are opened as she holds the watering can in her left hand. The
caption beneath her says Home sweet home is best! Although the
caption appears to be washed out in the photograph accompanying this
description, that is merely camera glare and the item itself is not worn at
all. It is in virtually perfect condition and was manufactured by WWA in
1980.

This is an 8"
tall lightweight wooden wall hanging (approximately 0.75" thick) showing
Strawberry Shortcake sitting atop a large red strawberry. The item
probably dates to the earlier 1980s, but the sticker that included all of the
item's copyright information has been removed from the back of the plaque.
This item is in NM+ condition and without that copyright sticker, we do not know
who made it.

This is a
2.25" strawberry-scented PVC figure showing Strawberry Shortcake holding a
green watering can in front of her. The caption on the front of her
mounting card says My plants are "berry" thirsty. This
item is in mint condition and it has never been removed from its original
clear-plastic blisterpack or its original cardboard mounting card. It was
manufactured by Kenner in 1981 as part of a large collection of Strawberry
Shortcake and friends figures, all of which are shown on the back of the
mounting card.

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE lunch pail
This is a 6"
tall (when positioned as shown in the picture) metal lunch pail featuring
Strawberry Shortcake. The pail is shaped like a rectangle and is covered
with lithography to make it look like a straw picnic basket. The lid fits
snugly on top and has images of strawberries all over it. This item was
manufactured in 1980 by Chein. It is undamaged and overall is in EX+ to
NM- condition. Its principal flaw is some scraping of the paint along the
upper rim, where the lid fits onto the top of the lunch pail (resulting from
closing and removing the lid).

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE votive candle holder
This is a
3.25" porcelain cylindrical votive candle holder showing Strawberry
Shortcake carrying a strawberry plant in a wooden wheelbarrow. The caption
above and below her says A smile sweetens the day. This item has
three fleabites on the upper rim, one of which is clearly visible in the
photograph accompanying this description. Overall, it is in VG+ condition,
downgraded exclusively because of those fleabites. It was manufactured by
American Greetings in 1980.

This is a
7x5.75" spiral-bound recipe book whose cover shows Strawberry Shortcake in
her kitchen at 2:00 preparing some type of baked goods. The pages inside
remain unused and only one of the eight recipe tab blanks is torn
slightly. This item is in EX+ to NM- condition, with minor wear on the
glossy cover. It was manufactured by American Greetings in 1981.

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE sachet
This is a
4.75" ceramic sachet / potpourri holder featuring Strawberry
Shortcake. She is shown standing in front of an overflowing basket of
strawberries, hands by her sides. She wears her usual poofy pink bonnet
decorated with--what else?!--strawberries, a red dress with white polka dots, a
white apron with green diamonds, white bloomers, white socks with green stripes,
and brown shoes. Strawberry Shortcake's bonnet has four holes in it and
her dress has three holes in it to allow the aroma from the potpourri contents
to escape. This item retains its original gold lame hanging cord and its
original plastic stopper. It was manufactured by American Greetings in
1983. This item has no damage and only slight traces of paint loss,
leaving it in NM+ condition.

This is a 2"
strawberry-scented PVC figure of Strawberry Shortcake, who is shown walking
along with a large overflowing bushel basket of strawberries in front of
her. This item is in mint condition and it has never been removed from its
original clear-plastic blisterpack or its original cardboard mounting
card. The front of the mounting card bears a caption reading This
basket is "berry" heavy. Strawberry Shortcake was
manufactured in 1982 by Kenner as part of a large collection of figures of her
and her friends, all of which are shown on the back of the mounting card.

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE Berry Cycle
This is the 1983
Strawberry Shortcake Berry Cycle, manufactured by Kenner. It is made of
plastic and stands 5" tall and is 6.5" from front to back. It
features green leafy handlebars and a green leafy frame, pink wheels, a red
seat, and a yellow basket. As the box indicates, this item did not come
with the doll or any other accessories. This item is in mint condition and
was taken out of its box for the first time ever when we photographed it for
this listing. It comes with its original cardboard insert and its original
box, both of which are in great shape.

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE musical compact
This is a 6"
plastic musical compact with a vinyl figure of Strawberry Shortcake sitting atop
a large red strawberry. When the item is opened, it reveals the wind-up
mechanism and the mirror for the compact. The musical mechanism plays Barbra
Streisand’s Evergreen, and it plays the music quite well. This item is
in NM+ condition. It was manufactured in 1981 by American Greetings.

This is a package
of eight party place cards, made either out of thin cardboard or a reinforced
cardstock-type of paper. They measure 2.5x4" and show Strawberry
Shortcake sitting atop a huge strawberry with her feet extended in front of
her. The cards themselves say Welcome to the World of Strawberry Shortcake
and have a long line on which to write the person's name. This item is in
mint condition and it remains sealed inside of its original packaging. It
was manufactured by General Mills for American Greetings in 1980.

This is a
2.25" PVC figure showing Strawberry Shortcake carefully balancing herself
atop her pink strawberry-scented skateboard. The figure is in mint
condition and it has never been removed from its original clear-plastic
blisterpack (which is slightly crinkled, but intact and undamaged) or its
original cardboard mounting card. The back of the mounting card has
colorful graphics showing all of the items from which this particular figure
originally came. Strawberry Shortcake was manufactured by Kenner in 1982.

tall round tin showing Strawberry Shortcake, Custard, and Apricot. The caption beneath them says Friendship is a treat to share
in dark pink lettering. This item is undamaged and it has only minor wear,
leaving it in near mint condition. It was manufactured by American
Greetings in 1982 and was intended to be used as a candy container.

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE musical trinket box
This tough-to-find
item is a 5.75" musical trinket box, showing Strawberry Shortcake sitting
on top of a pile of strawberries in a mustard-colored basket. She sits
with both legs in front of her, wearing her usual attire consisting of a poofy
pink bonnet adorned with strawberries (what else?!), red dress, white apron with
green diamonds on it, white bloomers, white-and-green socks, and brown
shoes. When the basket is opened, the musical plays It's a Small World.
There is a small mirror inside and a shallow area to store a few trinkets.
The music works very well. This item was manufactured in 1981 for American
Greetings by Adam Joseph Industries. One of the support pegs underneath
the basket (used to stabilize it on a tabletop) has been replaced.
Otherwise, this item is in great, working condition.

This is a 4"
heavy-duty milk glass mug showing Strawberry Shortcake sitting atop a large
strawberry while, nearby, several other smaller strawberries are strewn
about. The mug is undamaged and in near mint condition, with one small
area of minor paint loss beside Strawberry Shortcake's right hand being its only
flaw. This item was manufactured by Anchor Hocking in 1980.

This cute item is a
4" bisque trinket box showing Strawberry Shortcake sitting with her legs
dangling off of the edge of a tan rectangular strawberry basket. Behind
and beside her, there are a number of strawberries piled up. This item was
manufactured by WWA in 1980. It is undamaged, but it does have paint loss
on the top of Strawberry Shortcake's bonnet and on top of several of the
strawberries. Overall, this item is in EX condition, downgraded only due
to the paint loss.

This is a 3"
composition Christmas ornament showing Strawberry Shortcake holding a yellow
star in her raised left hand. She is shown standing, smiling, and holding
her right hand behind her back. Strawberry Shortcake wears her usual
attire, consisting of a poofy pink bonnet with a strawberry (what else?!) on
top. a red dress with a white apron, white bloomers, white-and-green striped
socks, and brownish-orange shoes. She was manufactured by American
Greetings in 1983. This ornament retains its original gold lame hanging
cord and its original gold foil copyright sticker. It is in mint condition
and the sticker is entirely intact, with a single piece folded under itself.

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE milk glass cereal bowl
This is a
2.25" deep by 4.25" in diameter heavy-duty milk glass cereal bowl (or
dessert bowl) featuring Strawberry Shortcake. Here, she carries a large
strawberry in her right arm and a watering can in her left hand, as she walks
toward a huge plate of strawberry shortcake. This item was manufactured by
Anchor Hocking in 1980. It is in NM to NM+ condition, with minor paint
wear on the "w" in "Strawberry" and the "C" in the
"Corp." part of the copyright. The same images shown in the
photograph are repeated on the reverse side of the bowl; and the unseen side is
in nicer condition than the side that you are able to view here.

This is a vinyl
flower-shaped trinket box, measuring 4.5" in diameter. The center
features a pink disk with a raised-relief image of Strawberry Shortcake watering
her berry basket. The red-lettering caption above her says Little
things mean a lot. This item was manufactured by WWA in 1982.
The original gold foil manufacturer's sticker is intact underneath the
base. This item is undamaged and has no paint wear, with some dirt on the
sides. The dirt has begun to come off with a gentle attempt at cleaning
the item, but some still remains and may come off with a greater scouring.
At present, this item is in NM to NM+ condition. If all of the dirt comes
off, it would be in mint condition.

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE toothbrush holder
This cute item is a
5.5" tall by 7.25" long plastic toothbrush holder featuring Strawberry
Shortcake. She is shown sitting on a grassy mound beside a tall
strawberry. The strawberry is removable (presumably for washing) and the
top of the strawberry can be opened. Inside of it, things like small tubes
of toothpaste, small children's bars of soap, dental floss, and other toiletries
can be stored. In her seated pose, Strawberry Shortcake's hands are
positioned in such a way as to allow her to hold a child's toothbrush,
too. This item was manufactured by Adam Joseph Industries for American
Greetings in 1981. It is in NM+ condition.

strawberry plant. The dark pink caption above and beneath her says Love makes
happiness happen! This item is in mint condition. It was manufactured by WWA
in 1980.

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE metal canister
This is a 5"
tall metal canister showing Strawberry Shortcake sitting with a boy and her
puppy in front of her berry house. The canister has a 4" diameter and
a removable lid. It was manufactured by American Greetings in 1980.
It is free of damage and rust, and paint wear is very minimal. Inside of
the canister, there are a number of very small dots and marks, seemingly the
result of the canister having been used by its previous owner to store
crayons. With a careful cleaning, these may come off, but we are uncertain
of this. If they do not come off, as is, this item is in EX+
condition. If they do come off, then the item would improve to NM
condition. In either event, they are minor AND they are located on the
INSIDE of the canister, visible only when the lid is removed.

This is a 4.5"
porcelain covered sugar bowl featuring Strawberry Shortcake, who is shown
lounging against a large strawberry plant while her cat, Custard, looks
on. The raspberry-colored lettering beside her says Love is the treat
that's extra sweet. This item is in mint condition and it comes with a
small plastic spoon that may or may not be the original (we do not know what
that looked like, so cannot say one way or the other whether that piece is
original). It was manufactured by WWA in 1980.

This is a
3.25" porcelain bell showing Strawberry Shortcake watering her strawberry
plants in her garden as her pet cat, Custard, watches. The pink-lettering caption
above and below her says Laughter is the sweetest sound. This bell
was manufactured in 1980 by WWA. It is free of damage and retains its
original clapper. The bell's only flaw is some wear on the gold trim on
the heart-shaped handle. Overall, this item is in no worse than near mint
condition.
