DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) wind-up toy -- truck

  This cute toy is a 6" plastic wind-up toy showing Donald Duck driving a red truck.  He sits tall behind the raised yellow steering wheel.  When the knob on the left side of the truck is wound and the truck is released onto a hard, smooth surface, the truck rides along and clangs the metallic multi-colored bell that serves as the truck's rear bumper.  This item works very well and moves right along when given a good wind-up.  There may have been a plastic ladder attached to the back portion of the truck, but if that is the case, it is no longer present.  Other than that, this item is in NM+ condition.  It bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and probably dates to the 1960s or earlier 1970s.  There is no indication anywhere on this toy regarding who made it.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) large bank

  This is an 11.5" vinyl bank of Donald Duck, who is shown tugging on the left side of his bright red bowtie with his left hand (with the pinkie raised ever so daintily!).  Donald wears his usual sailor's outfit and is shown looking upward and to his right, with his right arm bent and resting by his hip.  The bank's coin slot is located on top of Donald's tail feathers, and the original generic plastic stopper is no longer present underneath his feet.  This item has a forward lean to it, but is able to stand on its own without difficulty.  It is undamaged and has only a small amount of paint loss and a few tiny marks on it.  For some unknown reason, whereas Donald's painted areas are bright and colorful, his white areas have yellowed over the years.  Overall, he is in EX condition.  He was manufactured by Illco during the 1980s and bears the Walt Disney Company copyright marking.

COST = $36           BOXED WEIGHT: <2 POUNDS           ITEM NUMBER = 1108140

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) large carnival chalk figure

  This Donald Duck carnival chalk figure has a green sailor's cap with a long tassel hanging down the back of his head and neck.  His bill is painted yellow, orange, and red.  His shirt is red.  His bowtie and the base on which he stands are both green.  His neckline and bowtie are decorated with silver (now appearing mostly grey) glitter.  There is one very small surface chip in the chalk on the underside rim of Donald's cap, and judging from its appearance, this may have been a factory flaw.   Paint loss on this item is very minimal and no other damage is present.   Amazingly enough, for an item that probably dates back to the 1950s, Donald is in remarkable condition--probably meriting an EX+ condition grading overall.  PLEASE NOTE:  Due to the extremely fragile nature of this item, insurance is NOT optional with this particular purchase, so that we can conduct our transaction mutually protected from accidental damage or loss.

Dakin manufacturer's label is clean and completely intact.   Donald stands nearly 8" tall.  Overall, he's in EX+ condition (most of the downgrading due to the absence of the felt coat buttons), with just some very light surface marks on his bill.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) bank -- looking sideways

DONALD DUCK ? NEPHEW ? (Walt Disney) squeak toy -- as baby

  Although this looks like a newer item, in point of fact, it is not.  It is a Walt Disney Productions 5.5" rubber squeak toy showing Donald Duck or one of his nephews in infant form.  He is sitting with his legs in front of him, hands resting on his toes, looking open-mouthed off toward his right.  He wears a child's version of a sailor's outfit, complete with pink ribbon hanging from the blue cap and a pink bowtie.  When squeezed, Donald / Huey / Dewey / Louie here gives off a hearty squeaking sound.  This item is free of damage and has only slight paint wear, leaving it in near mint condition.  The copyright shows that this item was made in Italy and it bears an image of an elephant inside of a circle.  This item probably dates to the 1960s or earlier 1970s and was released along with many other Walt Disney character squeak toy counterparts, some of which we have in stock at this time too.
