DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) squeak toy -- sitting

This is a 4.5" vinyl squeak toy of Donald Duck, who is shown sitting with his heels joined in front of him as he happily rests his hands on the tops of both feet. Donald is wearing his usual blue sailor’s suit, blue sailor’s cap with a black ribbon on it, and a red bowtie. This item bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and probably dates to the later 1960s or 1970s. The manufacturer is not indicated anywhere on the item. When squeezed, Donald gives off a gentle squeaking sound. The vinyl is completely undamaged. There are several small spots of paint wear on this item, primarily on the cap. Overall, though, it is in EX to EX+ condition and is a nice example of this less-commonly-found Donald Duck squeak toy.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) tennis playing figure

This is a 7.5" plastic figure showing Donald Duck as a tennis player, holding a white racket in both hands. He wears a blue cloth sailor's shirt with silver trim, and a red cloth bowtie. Donald leans forward and toward his right side, as if he is about to receive a tennis volley. He has some discoloration underneath his upper bill (clearly visible in the photograph accompanying this description) and he appears to have been glued to something by his previous owner, judging from the remnants of something hard underneath his feet. Overall, this item is in EX condition. It probably dates to the 1970s and there is no indication anywhere on Donald as to who made him.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) cream pitcher

This is a 6.25" heavy-duty ceramic cream pitcher showing Donald Duck with an oversized head, standing, smiling, and looking off to his left side. The item is off-white in color with pastel blue, black, and gold accents. The item was manufactured by Leeds sometime during the 1950s. It is incised with a tall, skinny DONALD DUCK lettering, beneath which is also an incised Walt Disney. Donald is in EX+ to NM- condition overall, with some wear on his back, where it appears that his previous owner cleaned him too much and wore through some of the ceramic glaze. Also worth noting: On the underside of the spout of the cream pitcher, there are two areas beneath the glaze where the ceramic appears not to have been smoothed properly during the manufacturing process. On the left side of Donald's temple, there is also one small spot where the manufacturer did not glaze the pastel blue portion. This description makes Donald sound much worse than he is. Overall, he is in nice condition and he displays well; but we always believe in full disclosure!

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) blue rubber jiggler

This is a 4.75" rubber jiggler figure of Donald Duck, who is shown to be a bright, light blue color with a darker, bright blue sailor's shirt with red buttons and bowtie. Donald retains his complete springy hanging string, enabling him to bounce away whenever he is suspended from something like a rear-view mirror, peg, etc. This item bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and was manufactured sometime during the 1960s in all likelihood. The rubber is completely undamaged on this item and paint wear is minimal. Donald does have two red marks on his right sleeve/wrist that appear to be stray paint from the factory. Whether or not they can be removed, we do not know because we didn't try to remove them, for fear of damaging the paint on this otherwise very nice item.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) Christmas ornament -- in chimney

This is a 3.75" lightweight blown-plastic Christmas ornament showing Donald Duck popping out of the top of a snow-capped brick chimney. The ornament is in NM+ condition. It was manufactured by Kurt Adler and was produced sometime during the later 1970s or earlier 1980s. Donald bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) Leeds planter -- cowboy

This beautiful, colorful find is a 6.5" heavy-duty ceramic planter showing cowboy Donald Duck standing beside a "wooden" fence that is surrounded by grass (with gold accents, no less!). He wears a pale yellow cowboy hat, a raspberry-colored neckerchief, a green shirt, and a tan gun belt. This item was manufactured by Leeds sometime during the 1950s as part of a large set of figures, banks, planters, and wall pockets featuring various Walt Disney cartoon characters. Donald is in virtually perfect condition. The underside of the planter is incised Donald Duck (c) Walt Disney.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) accordion squeak toy

This is a 4.25" plastic squeak toy named a Pip Squeek toy by the manufacturer, Marx, when it made it in 1970. It shows Donald Duck wearing a blue sailor's hat and yellowish-green shoes. His body is blue in color and is shaped like an accordion. Donald has human-like arms and hands. To make him squeak, the user must bop him on top of the head. This squeak toy is in mint, unused condition and it has never been removed from its original box. Originally, Donald was manufactured along with Mickey Mouse, Pinocchio, and Goofy counterparts.

This relatively uncommon find is an 11.5" vinyl squeak toy of Donald Duck, who has posable arms. He wears a light blue sailor's outfit with a red bowtie. Donald himself is a creamy yellow color with white and orange accents. When squeezed, he gives off a hearty squeaking sound. This item was manufactured in Italy sometime during the 1960s or 1970s. Donald bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and he has a copyright logo of an elephant inside of a circle. This item is in NM- condition, with several small spots of paint wear on the edges of Donald's bill, bowtie, tail feathers, and feet.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) Christmas ornament -- on sled

This is a 2.5" plastic Christmas ornament showing Donald Duck sitting on a green sled with red runners. He wears a Santa Claus outfit and holds a large candy cane over his left shoulder while holding onto a white gift box with red polka dots and yellow ribbons on it between his legs. This item is undamaged and in no worse than near mint condition, with a few small specks of minor paint loss being its only flaw. Donald bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and he probably dates to the 1970s. There is no indication anywhere on this item as to who made it.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) floating bathtub / pool toy

This fun item is a 9" hollow vinyl figure of Donald Duck, who is shown holding onto a green hose as he perches himself atop a raft made of four logs. This item floats on a water surface and, therefore, can be used as a child's bathtub toy or as a floating toy in a swimming pool. Donald is in nearly perfect condition. He was manufactured by Illco sometime during the 1970s, and he bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) wall walker

How items like this survive the years, we'll never know! This is a 1972 plastic wall walker featuring Donald Duck. Donald is 3.5" tall and is encased in a plastic ladder of sorts that enables him to "walk" down any hard, flat vertical surface. Best of all, this item is in mint condition and is still sealed inside of its original clear plastic blisterpack AND is still mounted inside of its original 9.5x8.25" cardboard mounting card. The back of the card provides illustrations of the toy in action, along with instructions how to use it. The mounting card shows minor wear from being handled over the years, but is completely undamaged and intact, as is the blisterpack. This item was manufactured by Kenner in association with General Mills. The item itself is pretty rare and finding it sealed, unused like this is a true rarity!

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) three-dimensional wall hanging

This is a 5.75" three-dimensional plastic wall hanging showing Donald Duck's smiling face as he looks off toward his left side. Donald wears a blue sailor's hat and a blue bowtie with white polka dots on it. In the back of this item, there is a plastic backing with a keyhole-shaped hole in it, enabling Donald to be hung on a peg on a wall. This item is 100% undamaged and in EX+ condition, with minor paint loss and several small, stray marks on Donald's surface being his main flaws. It probably dates to the 1960s and it was manufactured along with comparable wall hangings of other Walt Disney cartoon characters. There is no indication anywhere on Donald as to who made him.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) flocked figure

This is a 4.5" jointed flocked plastic figure of Donald Duck, who is shown wearing his usual blue sailor’s outfit. He is in mint condition and, best of all, comes with his original box with the clear-plastic covering. The sides of the box have colorful graphics showing Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse looking out of windows. This item was manufactured in 1987 by Applause along with other Walt Disney cartoon characters.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) boxed marionette

This is an 11" cloth marionette of Donald Duck, who has a vinyl head, composition hands, and composition black shoes. He is undamaged and in no worse than near mint condition, with minor evidence of use or wear. Best of all, Donald comes with his original box, which has fun graphics on the sides of various marionettes and the backs of children's heads as they watch their puppet show. Donald's box has some tears and crinkling, but it is intact and, overall, in somewhere between Fair and Good condition. He was manufactured by Gund sometime during the 1950s or 1960s.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) jointed vinyl bank

This is a vinyl Donald Duck bank that stands 6" tall. Although Donald's left arm is fixed in place, the extended right arm is jointed at the shoulder. The coin slot is located on the back of Donald's head. There is a peach-colored coin trap on the bottom of the bank that, despite its tight fit, probably is not the original. This item was manufactured during the 1960s or 1970s and bears the Walt Disney Productions marking. The maker is unknown. If the coin trap does happen to be the original, then this item is in NM+ condition overall; if it is not, the item's overall condition probably merits a grading of EX+.

This is a 4.25" blown plastic Christmas ornament showing Donald Duck holding a green Christmas gift with red ribbon and bow. He wears a red ski cap with a green border and a white pompon, in addition to his blue sailor's shirt and red scarf. This item is in NM+ condition. It bears the Walt Disney Company copyright marking and probably dates to the middle or later 1980s. There is no indication anywhere on the ornament as to who made Donald.

This is a 9.75" plush doll of Donald Duck, who has a vinyl face and a beanbag-type filling in his torso. He is aqua and white in color, and stands with both arms raised. This doll is undamaged and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into Donald's left hip. Overall, this doll is in near mint condition, with minor play-related dinginess on the white parts of the plush being Donald's only flaw. He was manufactured sometime during the 1970s and he bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking. There is no indication anywhere on this item as to who made it.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) Leeds ABC planter

This gorgeous piece is a 5.25x6.5" ceramic planter showing Donald Duck sitting atop the yellow B block of an ABC "children's blocks" set. This item was manufactured by Leeds sometime in the 1950s along with a Mickey Mouse counterpart. Donald's only flaw is a minor UNDER-the-glaze hairline on the top of the A block (visible in the photograph). This hairline is not in any danger of spreading, and it is not felt when a finger is run along it. This is a fully-licensed Walt Disney item, with the copyright information being incised into the perimeter of the A and C blocks and along the lower edge on back.

This is a bisque figurine of Donald Duck, standing nearly 4" tall. Donald is shown wearing a Santa Claus cap, a blue jacket, and a blue-and-white striped scarf. He is standing, bent forward slightly, on a snow-covered grassy area and is lifting a holly wreath with both hands. This item is in mint condition. It bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and, thus, was probably manufactured during the 1970s.

This lovely item is a 5.75" wooden musical showing Donald Duck standing and looking sideways as he plays his brown guitar. He stands on a green "grassy" area that is adorned by red and blue golf tee-like flowers/mushrooms. When the metallic base is wound up, the musical revolves and plays My Way. Both the rotation and musical mechanisms work just fine on this item. Donald was manufactured in Italy by Anri in 1971. He is in nearly perfect condition.

Donald was manufactured sometime during the 1960s or 1970s and he still retains his original gold lame hanging loop.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) hard vinyl mechanical bank

This hard vinyl Donald Duck bank was manufactured during the 1970s by Animal Toys Plus, Inc. It is a mechanical bank, with Donald's right hand having an indentation in it for the coin and his arm being jointed so as to allow Donald to place the coin directly into the side of his lavender piggy bank with the bright red stars on it (YUCK!!). The original gold foil "Donald Duck" label is clean and intact on the front of the bank's red base, and the original stopper is present too. Other than some minor paint wear along the very bottom perimeter of the bank's base, this item is in great shape--NM overall. It stands 9" tall.

This nice item is a 3" ceramic coffee cup / mug showing Donald Duck's face from the neck upward. He smiles and looks upward. The cup is white with a green handle and pink lettering bearing Donald's name. The image of Donald himself is provided in raised-relief. This item is in nearly perfect condition. It probably dates to the 1960s and it bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking. The item comes with its original sticker, which says Gift Gallery.

This is a 5.25" composition bank showing Donald Duck walking out of his lime green tent, as a skunk happily prances by the back of the tent. The bank's coin slot is located on the top of the tent and the original generic black rubber stopper is present underneath the base. This item bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking, suggesting that it dates to the 1960s or 1970s, but there is no indication anywhere on the item as to who made it. The bank has no damage and only a few small spots of minor paint loss, leaving it in near mint condition overall.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) Fun-Cycle toy

This pretty incredible find is a mint condition, seemingly unused Donald Duck Fun-Cycle, which is a toy showing him riding a red unicycle along a string atop a string/wire attached to two thin metal poles. This toy measures approximately 12" in size, and it comes with its original instruction paper and, best of all, its original box. The box has beautiful, colorful graphics on it, featuring various images of Donald Duck riding his very own Fun-Cycle as other children gleefully watch him. The box has some edge and corner wear, but is intact and generally in fairly nice condition. Donald was manufactured by Empire sometime during the 1950s or 1960s. Consistent with items manufactured during this time period, he bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking.

This is a 3" glass-like plastic Christmas ornament, mostly white in color, showing Donald Duck singing Christmas carols in front of three staggered-height tall blue candles. This item is bulbous, not flat, and the top and snowflakes are accented with a silvery-gold glitter. It bears the Walt Disney Company copyright marking and probably dates to the later 1980s. Donald is in NM+ condition and there is no indication anywhere on the item as to who made it.

This is a 3.5" tall by 4.5" long ceramic planter or desk holder (for paper clips, pens, etc.) featuring Donald Duck. He is shown from the torso upward and is holding onto the yellow-orange cord on the side of the front half of a brown boat. The boat is hollowed out and that is where the small plant could be planted or the desktop items could be stored. This item bears the Walt Disney Company copyright marking and, thus, probably dates to the middle to later 1980s. It is free of damage and has only slight paint wear, leaving it in NM+ condition. There is no indication anywhere on the item as to who made it.

This is a 2.5" PVC figure of Donald Duck, who is shown holding a pink Easter egg wrapped in a red ribbon in the air in his left hand. This item dates to 1985 and it was manufactured in Germany by Bully, and it was hand painted. Donald is in NM+ condition and he still retains his original manufacturer's label, which is attached to his right arm.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) bisque figurine -- golfer

During the 1970s, a number of Walt Disney cartoon character bisque figurines were manufactured with sports-related themes. (We have several others in stock currently, too.) This is one of those figurines, featuring Donald Duck sitting haplessly in a golf course's water trap with his golf club partially immersed in the water by his right side and his golf ball atop the lily pad on his head. This item is 3" tall and 3" long. Donald is shown wearing a turquoise shirt with a blue collar. This figurine bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking on its underside and, thus, probably dates to the 1970s. It is in mint condition.

Sutton and Sons, and it bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking. Donald probably dates to the 1970s.

This is a 4" crystal snowglobe with a wooden base, inside of which Donald Duck is shown holding a pair of bright green skis atop his left shoulder. He wears a red hunter's cap and a brownish jacket, along with a multicolored scarf. This item fills with snow when it is shaken. Donald is in virtually perfect condition and he retains his original manufacturer's sticker on the underside of the snowglobe's base. This item was manufactured as part of a much larger set of Walt Disney cartoon character snowglobes sometime during the 1990s, by the New England Collector's Society.

This hand puppet of Donald Duck was manufactured during the 1970s and distributed at Walt Disney World. It has a vinyl head and a cotton cloth figural body with Donald's name written in red lettering on the bottom of the puppet. The original tag is present and undamaged, although it has faded considerably (but is still readable). This item is 10.25" tall. Donald's cloth could use a good soaking/cleaning. Something like Woolite would probably do wonders for its appearance, but we'll leave that to the item's new owner. The paint on the vinyl part of this hand puppet is in very nice shape, with a few minor spots of light paint wear.

From the bottom of the brown barrel to the top of Donald Duck's bald head, this item is 4.5" tall. It is a plastic pop-up squeak toy that gives off a shrill squeaking sound when operating. The lid to the barrel can be shut, pushing Donald inside of the barrel. Then thee is a small button on the front of the barrel that activates the squeaking mechanism and forces the barrel open, causing Donald to pop up. This item was manufactured by Kohner Brothers sometime during the 1960s or 1970s as part of a larger set of Walt Disney cartoon character pop-up squeak toys. This one is undamaged and in NM+ condition.

This less-commonly-found item is a 10.5" rubber squeak toy, showing Donald Duck holding a pair of black binoculars in his right hand. He looks downward and slightly off toward his left side, and is shown wearing his usual blue sailor's outfit with the red bowtie. When squeezed, this item gives off a hearty squeaking sound. Donald was manufactured by Dell sometime during the 1960s. He has no damage and very little wear. Overall, he is in no worse than near mint condition . . . quite nice!

This is a 6.5" soft rubber figure of Donald Duck, who is shown tugging on his red bowtie with his left hand. He wears a blue sailor's hat and a blue sailor's bib with a white collar. This item originally may have been a squeak toy, but if that is the case, the squeaking mechanism is no longer present. Other than that, Donald is in NM- condition, with a few small spots of minor paint loss being his only other flaws. He was manufactured in England by Combex and probably dates to the 1960s.

This is a 6" plastic push puppet of Donald Duck, referred to by Kohner Brothers, the manufacturer, as a Maxi-Puppet. It shows Donald standing with both arms outstretched from his sides, and he wears his usual blue sailor's outfit with the red bowtie. When the black area beneath the blue oval base is depressed, Donald collapses at the neck and arms. This item is undamaged and in nice working condition. It has minor paint wear on the bowtie and very light wear on the original paper label. This item dates to the 1970s and it bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking.

This is a 9" wooly plush rolypoly of Donald Duck, who makes a clanking chiming sound when he is moved about. He is in no worse than near mint condition, with some age-related darkening of the wooly plush being his principal flaw. Donald retains his original manufacturer's label, which shows that he was made by Gund. This item bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and it probably dates to the 1950s.

He was manufactured in Italy by Ledra sometime during the 1960s or 1970s, as part of a large collection of Walt Disney cartoon character squeak toys of varying sizes. He is in NM+ condition, with only minimal evidence of wear.

He probably dates to the 1960s or 1970s, and there is no indication of who made him. He has no damage anywhere on him and is in nearly perfect condition.

This unusual find is a 14" mostly round plush pillow doll showing Donald Duck's rounded smiling face. He has a stuffed felt turquoise hat and glued=on felt facial features. This item was manufactured by Gund and it probably dates to the 1950s or 1960s. It retains its original manufacturer's label, which is sewn securely into Donald's left cheek. This item bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and is in nearly perfect condition. Quite a nifty find this is, if you ask us!

This is a 2.5" tall ceramic figurine of Donald Duck, who has a quizzical, almost sad, look on his face. The underside of this figurine is stamped with the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking, so it was probably made during the 1960s or 1970s. The figurine is free of damage and has only minimal paint loss. It is in near mint condition overall.

During the 1950s and 1960s, the Sun Rubber Company released several Walt Disney cartoon character squeak toys, including a few different variations of Donald Duck. This one, showing him wearing a red hat and a red shirt with a white bowtie, is the least commonly found of this company's variations of Donald. It stands 10.5" tall and is made of rubber. When squeezed, Donald gives off a loud, hearty squeaking sound. He is undamaged and in EX+ condition, with a dirty appearance on his rubber surface that has been resistant to our attempts to give him a gentle cleaning.

This is a 2.75" round plastic nightlight showing Donald Duck in profile, looking upward. The nightlight has a red rim and a light blue backing, and Donald's face appears in raised-relief. When plugged into an electrical socket, Donald gives off a gentle glow. He was manufactured by General Electric sometime during the 1970s and is in virtually perfect, working condition.

This is a 2.5" bisque figurine showing Donald Duck as a puzzled-looking fallen ice skater who sits on an oval base made to resemble cracked pond ice. Donald wears a blue cap, a blue shirt/sweater, a green muffler, and grey skates held onto his feet with lavender spats. This figurine is in virtually perfect condition. It was manufactured in 1987 as part of a large set of Walt Disney cartoon character figurines, and there is no indication anywhere on the item as to who made it.

This is a 2.75x4.25" ceramic (or porcelain) mug, primarily white in color, showing Donald Duck gleefully dancing along a grassy, flowered area with a bouquet of flowers held high in the air in his left hand. This item is in NM+ condition. It was manufactured sometime during the 1970s and bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking. There is a DO imprint on the underside of the mug, consistent with the other Walt Disney cartoon character mugs made by the company in question (whichever company that is).

Although it does not look like a "traditional" nodder, this 5.5" tall plastic Donald Duck really is a nodder, complete with bobbing head. It shows Donald with his left arm bent on his hip and his right arm waving as he looks off toward his right. Donald is wearing his usual blue sailor's suit and he has a yellow bowtie. The nodding mechanism works perfectly on this item. This item was manufactured by Irwin and it bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking, indicative of an item that was manufactured during the 1960s or earlier 1970s. Donald has no damage and only minor paint loss, primarily on the back of his sailor's hat. Overall, he is in no worse than near mint condition.

DONALD DUCK (Walt Disney) bank -- holding piggy bank

This is a small hard vinyl bank of Donald Duck, who is shown sitting with his legs bowed as he holds his lavender piggy bank in his arms. The bank is 4.75" tall. The coin slot is located on the back of Donald's head and a black plastic stopper is present and securely in place on the underside of the bank. This item's copyright information does not indicate who made the bank. I does bear the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking, indicating that it was made sometime during the 1960s or 1970s in all likelihood. The bank is free of damage and paint wear is extremely minimal. Donald's white areas have yellowed slightly over the years, but even they still appear to be off-white (rather than bright white) in color. Overall, this bank is in near mint condition--quite nice for a less-commonly-found Donald Duck bank.
