This is a
6.75" ceramic musical showing Oliver Barrett IV and Jennifer Cavilleri
(Oliver and Jenny) from the 1970 movie Love Story. They are shown
sitting together on the grass, with Oliver resting his hand on a brown book
while Jenny has a white one on her lap. The side of the grass has a
black-lettering caption that says Love means not ever
having to say you're sorry just as the famous line
in the film itself said. When the white round plastic base is wound up,
the musical revolves and plays Speak Softly Love (theme for Love Story).
Both the rotation and musical mechanisms work just fine on this item. The
musical was manufactured by Chadwick-Miller in 1971. It is undamaged and
in NM to NM+ condition, with a few tiny paint flecks and smudges on the
lettering being its only flaws.

This is an
11.5" stuffed Oliver Hardy doll with a vinyl head and vinyl hands. He
wears a black bowler-style crushed velvet hat, a white cloth shirt, a red cloth
necktie with white polka dots, blue cloth overalls bearing his name in white
lettering, gold-colored buttons on the overalls, and black plastic shoes.
Ollie is in NM+ condition and has never been removed from his original
box. The box is in nice shape too, with some shelf wear evident. It
probably merits a condition grading of NM-. Oliver Hardy was manufactured
by Goldberger in 1986. The back of the box even retains the original store
price sticker, showing that this item used to cost $1.90. Those were the
days, huh?!

This is a
5.75" rubber bendy figure of Oliver Hardy, originally manufactured by
Lakeside in 1967 along with a Stanley Laurel counterpart. Ollie wears a
black hat, black shirt, black jacket, red necktie, blue pants, and blue
shoes. His bendy wires are all located securely inside of the rubber and
this item is free of damage. Ollie does have some minor paint wear on his
face and on the left (his right) side of his necktie, leaving this item
in NM- condition.

This is a
13.5" vinyl figure of Oliver Hardy, who wears a black bowler, black cloth
pants, black plastic shoes, an off-white (due to aging) shirt, a red coat, and a
dark blue flowered necktie. Ollie is in EX+ condition, with minor
age-related discoloration being his only flaw. He was manufactured in 1973
by Berman and Anderson along with a Stan Laurel counterpart that we happen to
have in stock at this time as well. If you decide to purchase both items
together in a single transaction, we will discount the price for the pair to
$100 for you.

Well, it certainly
looks as if Stanley has gotten Ollie into another fine mess here! This
10.75" stuffed cloth doll of Oliver Hardy has a hard vinyl head. It
shows him wearing a black bowler and a black-and-white striped prisoner's
uniform, complete with the unlucky prisoner number 0013 on the chest. This
doll was manufactured in 1999 by Play-by-Play. It is in NM+ condition and
retains its original manufacturer's labels, which are in nice condition and sewn
securely into Ollie's rear end.

This is a 14"
hard vinyl bank showing Oliver Hardy standing atop a round green base, waving
with his raised right hand. He wears a blue bowler, a black jacket, a
white shirt, a red necktie with white polka dots, blue pants, and black
shoes. The coin slot is located on top of Ollie's head and the original
stopper is no longer present underneath the base. This item was
manufactured along with a Stanley Laurel counterpart in 1972 by Play Pal
Plastics. It is in near mint condition, with no damage and some small
spots of minor paint loss, primarily on the back of the bank.

During
the 1960s or 1970s, Knickerbocker released this Oliver Hardy item as part of a set that
also included Stanley Laurel (which we also have in stock at this time). This is an
8.5" bend-em doll in NM+ condition. Ollie has a vinyl head with a molded-on
black derby. He wears a red felt jacket, a white felt vest with black buttons, blue
felt bowtie, black felt shoes, and white-and-blue checked cotton cloth pants. His
arms and legs have thin metal bars inside of them, enabling them to be posed; his
oversized shoes have cardboard bottoms inside of the felt material, enabling Ollie to
stand easily on his own. If Stanley and Ollie are purchased together, we'll drop the
purchase price for the pair to $88.

wires are located securely inside of the rubber, and this item has no damage
anywhere on it. Ollie has minor paint loss scattered about, leaving him in
NM- condition. The copyright information on his back does not indicate who
made him or when he was manufactured, although this is probably a 1970s piece.

This is an 11"
vinyl chiming rolypoly toy, featuring Oliver Hardy. He has a red bowler on
his head, a white shirt, a black, red, and white striped necktie, a red jacket,
and black pants. When batted about, he chimes, wobbles, and then uprights
himself again. This item probably dates to the 1970s and there is no
indication anywhere on him as to who made him. Ollie is undamaged but he
does have paint loss on his hat and smaller spots of paint loss scattered about
him. Overall, he is in VG+ to EX- condition.

Harmon) jointed vinyl Dakin figure
This is
the 1970s-era jointed vinyl doll of Oliver Hardy that was manufactured by R. Dakin
Company. (We also have the Stanley Laurel figure that goes along with this item in
stock at the present time.) Ollie is 7.75" tall. He has a soft vinyl head
and a hard vinyl body. He is shown wearing a brown vinyl derby, a lavender
cotton
button-on jacket, a white cloth shirt, and a blue cloth tie with white and pink flowers on
it. His pants are light blue and are part of the molded body, as are his black
shoes. Ollie has a few splotches of paint on his behind that appear to be factory
errors (as opposed to damage resulting from careless handling over the years by his
previous owner). Otherwise, he is in fantastic condition, with no paint wear, no
missing pieces, and no damage. He comes complete with his original Dakin cardboard
hang tag and his original clear plastic with black trim bag. In the picture, the
image of the bag was reduced slightly more than the image of Ollie himself and, as a
result, it is not shown in full-scale vis-à-vis the Dakin figure itself.

Ollie . . . as you
have never quite seen or envisioned before! Here, our hero is depicted in
the form of a 14" stuffed cloth Cupid doll, complete with white angel wings
on back, a yellow arrow in his right hand, and a yellow bow in his left
hand. He wears a red outfit and a matching hat, and there is a raised
white heart saying I Love You in red lettering on his chest. This
doll was manufactured by Toy Network in 2003. It is in virtually perfect
condition and retains its original manufacturer's label, which is also in nice
condition and sewn securely into Ollie's left hip.

1974. Ollie is wearing a brown derby, a lavender jacket, a white shirt, a red
necktie, light blue pants, and black shoes. When squeezed, he gives off a gentle
squeaking sound. Overall, this item is in EX to EX+ condition. There is minor
paint wear along the lower edge of his hairline and along the back, bottom edge of his
jacket. The vinyl is nice and soft and without damage.

This is a 7"
plush doll of one of the puppies from 101 Dalmatians. The pup is
shown sitting on his/her hind quarters, looking quizzically off toward its left
side. The pup has glued-on plastic eyes and a red cloth dog collar.
It is in NM+ condition and retains its original cardboard hang tag, which
remains affixed to the dog's left ear. The original copyright label is
present, too, showing that this item was manufactured by Canasa Trading
Corp. It bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and probably
dates to the 1970s or early 1980s.

This is a 2"
tall by 2.5" long ceramic figurine of one of the puppies from Walt Disney's
feature-length animated cartoon 101 Dalmatians. This puppy was sold
as part of a set that included Pongo, Perdita, and several of the other puppies;
we currently have several of the items from this set in stock at this
time. This particular puppy is shown walking, crouching forward slightly,
looking upward and toward his left, with his tail raised in the air. Due
to the shape of the underside, this item has no copyright marking although
almost all of the other figurines in the set bear the Walt Disney Productions
copyright marking. This figurine is in mint condition and dates to the
1960s or 1970s.

This is a 6"
hard-stuffed cloth doll of one of the dalmatian puppies from Walt Disney's
feature-length animated cartoon 101 Dalmatians. The pup is shown
sitting on his hind legs, begging. He retains his original blue dog collar
and all of his original glued-on spots. This doll is in near mint
condition, with minor age-related yellowing (somewhat less in person than the
photograph accompanying this description suggests) being its only flaw.
The pup retains his original manufacturer's label, which bears the Walt Disney
Productions copyright marking. There is no indication anywhere on this
doll as to who made it or when it was manufactured, although it probably dates
to the 1960s.

This is a 4.5"
ceramic figurine of Rolly, one of the puppies from Walt Disney's feature-length
animated cartoon 101 Dalmatians. Rolly is shown standing on all
fours, tail up, looking upward and toward the left. This item is in
virtually perfect condition and, best of all, it comes with its original
copyright stickers and its original name tag, which is designed to look like a
gold medallion hanging from Rolly's red dog collar. This item is in mint
condition other than some under-the-glaze age-related crazing. It was
manufactured in 1959, either by Seven China (the silver sticker on the left side
of the figurine) or Enesco.

This cute item is a 7" rubber squeak toy showing
one of the puppies from Walt Disney's feature-length animated cartoon 101
Dalmatians sitting on his haunches, looking startled as he looks up and over
his right shoulder. When squeezed, this item gives off a loud, hearty
squeaking sound. It was manufactured in Italy sometime during the 1960s,
but the manufacturer is not indicated anywhere on the item. This puppy has
one faint ink mark on the underside, beside the squeaker, visible only when he
is turned upside-down. Otherwise, he is in very nice condition--near mint
overall.

Productions copyright marking and probably dates the item to the 1960s or
1970s. The copyright information does not indicate who made this item,
which is in near mint condition. Its only real flaw is a green 79
(presumably the item's original price) written on the underside of the figurine.

item. Opus is shown with his feet extended in front of
him and his flippers in his lap, as he looks forlorn. He wears a red
satiny bowtie. This item was made by Dakin in 1985 and retains its
original manufacturer's label and both of its original hang tags. The
larger Opus has
no damage and only very minor signs of use-related soiling, and thus is in NM+ condition.
The smaller Opus is in NM+ condition and it also retains its original
manufacturer's label, which is sewn securely into Opus' behind.

This is a 10"
plush doll showing Opus as a graduate, standing with both flippers together
behind his back. He wears a satiny black mortarboard on his head with a
gold tassel hanging from it, a blue dress shirt collar around his neck, a
blue-and-red diagonally-striped necktie, and white sneakers with blue stripes on
them. Opus was manufactured by R. Dakin Company in 1984. He retains
his original manufacturer's label, which is in very nice condition and sewn
securely into Opus' rear end. Opus also has his original plastic hang tag. This item is free from damage is in NM+
condition.

This is a 2.75" plastic rolling toy of Orbity,
who is shown standing atop a pink spacecraft and holding onto its red control
handle. When the toy is placed on a hard, smooth surface, it rolls along
well and easily. Orbity is in virtually perfect condition. He was
manufactured by Applause in 1990 as part of a set of Jetsons family rolling
toys.

Barbera) bisque nightlight
This is a 5.5"
bisque electric nightlight showing Elroy Jetson's pal, Orbity, popping out of a
"broken" grey boulder. He looks upward and smiles sweetly, with
his yellow antennae pointing upward and sideways from his head. The
nightlight works just fine and gives off a gentle glow when plugged into a wall
socket. This item was manufactured during the mid-1980s along with a few
other Jetsons character nightlights. There is no copyright information
anywhere on the item which, overall, is in NM+ condition..

ORVILLE
(The Rescuers / Walt Disney) collector’s glass
This is a
6.25" thick (i.e., Brockway style) collector’s glass of Orville, the
albatross from Walt Disney’s feature-length animated cartoon The Rescuers.
The front of the glass shows him trying to run and take off for flight. The back
of the glass shows him having crashed, now angrily face-down on the pavement.
Between the two images, there is a white Pepsi logo. This item was released in
1977 as part of the Pepsi Rescuers Collector’s Series of glasses. It is in
just about perfect condition, retaining all of its original glossiness.
