LINUS (Peanuts) Christmas ornament -- security blanket
This is a
3.25" flat plastic Christmas ornament showing Linus as a baseball player
who is sucking his right thumb while holding his yellow security blanket by his
left side. The ornament is in just about perfect condition. It
probably dates to the 1980s and there is no indication anywhere on the ornament
as to who made it.

LINUS (Peanuts) terry cloth doll
This is an
8.5" terry cloth doll of Linus, with a soft foam stuffing. It was
manufactured by Determined during the 1970s as part of its Playpen Pal
collection, and we have several other dolls from this set in stock at this time
too. Linus is shown smiling with both arms outstretched from his
body. He wears a purple-and-white striped shirt, black shorts, purple
socks, and mustard-colored shoes. He is in mint condition and has never
been removed from his original packaging. These Playpen Pal dolls are very
difficult to find, especially sealed inside of their packages like this one is!

LINUS (Peanuts) Christmas ornament -- holding tree
This is a
2.75" ceramic Christmas ornament showing Linus holding a small decorated
Christmas tree in both hands, slightly toward his right side. Linus wears
a blue shirt with green stripes, black shorts, green socks, and brown shoes. The
ornament retains its original gold lame hanging cord and its original green
paper copyright sticker. It was manufactured sometime during the 1970s and
is in NM+ condition.

LINUS (Peanuts) Mother's Day plate
This is a 7.5"
porcelain collector's plate commemorating Mother's Day of 1972. It shows
Linus happily holding a red rose in his raised right hand. The plate is in
mint condition and it comes with its original box. The box is undamaged
and in EX condition, with edge and corner wear. This item was manufactured
by Schmid.

This is a 7.5"
composition candleholder showing Linus sucking his left thumb while holding his
red security blanket by his right ear. Inside of the lower portion of the
blanket is where the metal holder for the candlestick resides. This item
is in nearly perfect condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label
on the underside of Linus' feet. It was manufactured by Hallmark sometime
during the 1970s, along with Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Snoopy counterparts.

LINUS (Peanuts) bendy
This is a 5.5"
rubber bendy figure of Linus. He wears an orange-and-white striped shirt,
white socks, and black shoes. This item was manufactured in 1969 along
with Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Snoopy counterparts, but the copyright information
does not indicate who made it. All of Linus' bendy wires are located
securely inside of the rubber, which is completely free of damage. This
item has minimal paint loss and is in no worse than near mint condition.

LINUS (Peanuts) Anri musical
This uncommon find
is a 6" hand-carved wooden musical showing Linus standing on a
"grassy" area surrounded by four golf tee "flowers."
He holds a pale green security blanket in his right hand and is shown standing
and wearing a green shirt with black stripes, brown shorts, and brown
shoes. When the metal base is wound up, the musical revolves and plays Close
to You. Both the rotation and musical mechanisms work just fine.
Linus was manufactured in Italy by Anri in 1972. He is in virtually
perfect condition.

LINUS (Peanuts) washrag holder
This is a 6.5"
rubber washrag holder showing Linus with his arms raised and curled
forward. He wears a red-and-white striped shirt and has a crooked
smile. This item has a red suction cup on back, enabling Linus to be
affixed to a shower wall for use. He was manufactured during the early
1970s by Avon as part of a larger collection of Peanuts character bath
products. Linus is undamaged and he has only minor paint wear, leaving him
in near mint condition.

LINUS (Peanuts) Hallmark ornament -- A Snoopy Christmas
This is a
2.75" lightweight resin Christmas ornament showing Linus carrying a tree
branch over his right shoulder. He wears a green-and-white ski cap, a
matching coat, black pants, purple gloves, and brown shoes. This item is
in mint condition and it comes with its original box, which is in nice condition
as well. Linus is the fourth ornament in a set of five that Hallmark
released as part of its A Snoopy Christmas set in the year 2000.

This is a
10.5" cloth doll of Linus, who has a firmly-stuffed head and a
beanbag-style filling in his hands, feet, and torso. He wears a yellow
shirt that says, in black, block lettering, I love mankind. It's people
I can't stand. This doll is in mint condition and it retains its
original manufacturer's label, which is also in nice condition and sewn securely
into Linus' right hip. He was made by Determined sometime during the 1980s
or 1990s, along with a Lucy counterpart.

This is a 4.75"
red plastic cookie cutter showing Linus standing with a string of Christmas tree
lights in his hands. The item is in NM+ condition, with light dust and
residue in the crevices being its only flaw. Linus was manufactured during
the 1970s along with Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Snoopy counterparts. His
copyright information does not indicate who made him. As you can see from
the image on the right, we also have this item available in green plastic.
That one is in comparable condition to the red one.

LINUS (Peanuts) Quadrifoglio bank
This is a 7.5"
heavy-duty ceramic bank showing a forlorn-looking Linus clutching his pale
maroon security blanket with his left arm while sucking his right thumb.
He wears a white shirt with maroon stripes, black shorts, blue socks, and
orange-and-white shoes. The bank's coin slot is located on the back of
Linus' head and the original stopper is present underneath his shoes. This
item was manufactured in Italy by Quadrifoglio in 1968 along with other Peanuts
character counterparts. Linus is undamaged and in virtually perfect
condition.

LINUS (Peanuts) flat Christmas ornament
This is a 3"
flat plastic Christmas ornament showing Linus happily holding a large Christmas
wreath in front of him. The wreath is decorated with a red bow and several
blue, red, and gold Christmas balls. Linus wears a blue-and-black striped
shirt and gold shoes. This item probably dates to the later 1970s or 1980s
and it was made as part of a larger set of Peanuts Gang flat plastic
ornaments. There is no indication anywhere on this item as to who made
it. Linus is in virtually perfect condition.

LINUS (Peanuts) Hungerford figure -- small version
During the late 1950s, Hungerford released two sets of
Peanuts character vinyl squeak toys. This Linus stands 7.25" tall and
is from the harder-to-find smaller series. It shows him wearing a red
shirt (the larger version has him in a striped shirt), flesh-colored shorts, and
black shoes. He holds his right hand on his belly and his left hand raised
in the air, near his chin. When squeezed, this item gives off a gentle
squeaking sound. It has one small pink mark on the underside of Linus'
feet, visible only when the item is turned upside-down, and another on top of
his head. Linus has some paint loss, mostly on the edges of his shirt and
shoes, and a small amount on the back of his hair. His raised hand is
rough to the touch and may have been nibbled on by a child at one time.
All fingers are there, though, and nothing is broken off. Overall, this
item is in G+ condition.

LINUS & SALLY (Peanuts) figurescene
This is a 5.5"
composition figurescene showing Linus and Sally happily walking along, hand in
hand. The caption on the front of the royal blue rectangular base on which
they stand says Love is walking hand in hand. This item is in NM+
condition and it retains its original green felt protective undercovering, which
also contains the item's copyright information. It was manufactured in
1970 by Determined.

This is a
5.25" flat wooden Christmas ornament showing Linus and Snoopy lovingly
leaning against one another as they nap together atop a large red heart.
This item is in mint condition and it retains its original red hanging
loop. It was manufactured by Kurt Adler sometime during the 2000s as part
of a much larger set of Peanuts character flat wooden ornaments.

LINUS & SNOOPY (Peanuts) Anri musical
This is a
5.75" wooden musical manufactured by the Italian company, Anri, in
1968. It shows Linus holding his security blanket in his right hand while
he stands amidst a mushroom flowered area while Snoopy crawls along behind
him. When the metallic base is wound up, the musical revolves and plays
the Elvis Presley classic Release Me. The rotating and musical
mechanisms both work just fine on this item. The musical is undamaged and
in near mint condition overall, with minor paint wear on the stripes and upper
rim of the musical's base.

LIPPY THE LION (Hanna Barbera) prototype figure
This very rare find
is a 6.5" hollow hard vinyl figure of Lippy the Lion, who is shown standing
with both arms resting by his sides. He is entirely ivory colored and has
a detachable head. This item was manufactured as a toy prototype, but we
are unfamiliar with the item that may--or may not--have been made based on this
model. Lippy is in virtually perfect condition. There is no
indication anywhere on him as to who made him or when he was produced; but in
all likelihood, this item dates to the 1960s or 1970s.

LIPPY THE LION (Hanna Barbera) soaky
This is an
11.5" vinyl soaky of Lippy the Lion. He wears a lavender vest and a
brown hat, and is shown standing with both arms resting by his sides.
Lippy was manufactured by Purex as part of its Bubble Club soaky series during
the mid-1960s. He is free of damage and retains his original screw-on cap
beneath his head. He has moderate paint wear on the lavender portions of
his vest and some additional paint wear on the edges of his muzzle.
Overall, this item is in EX condition.

This is a
3.25" PVC figure showing Lisa Simpson looking surprised. She has her
eyes bugging out in shock and her arms bent upward, elbows by her waist.
She wears her usual white pearl necklace, red dress, and red shoes. This
figure is in NM+ condition. It was manufactured as a premium giveaway at
Burger King fast food restaurants in 2001 as part of a larger set of Simpsons
character figures.

This is a 16"
stuffed cloth rag doll of Lisa Simpson, who has bulbous plastic eyes and a red
crushed velvet dress. She is in mint condition and has never been removed
from her original box. The box has edge and some frontal wear but is
intact and generally in pretty nice condition. It has attractive, fun
graphics all over the sides, front, and top, showing Lisa Simpson and her family
members. This doll was manufactured by Dan-Dee and it has a 1990 copyright
on it.

This is a
6.25" plastic gumball machine featuring Lisa Simpson, whose decal on the

color, with a yellow turn knob. It was manufactured in 2000 by Rinco, and
is in virtually perfect condition.

This is a 3"
Christmas ornament of Lisa Simpson, made either of PVC or resin. She
stands with a stack of school books in front of her, smiling so broadly that it
is almost scary. Lisa is in mint condition and she comes with her original
box, which also retains its original clear-plastic protective insert. The
box is in nice condition and it has terrific, fun, and colorful graphics on it
featuring all of Lisa's family members. This ornament was sold by
Waldenbooks in 2002.

was distributed by Burger King fast food restaurants in 2002, along with other
Simpsons character figures. Lisa is undamaged and she has only slight
wear, leaving her in NM+ condition overall.

This Lisa Simpson doll is 8.5"
tall. Her body is stuffed with some type of spongy material and is covered with
yellow fabric. She wears a bright red felt dress and has red cloth shoes. Her
head is made of vinyl. Lisa was manufactured in 1990; no manufacturer is listed on
her tag, which is sewn into her beneath her dress. There is one black mark on the
tip of Lisa's left shoe and some very light soiling on the cloth resulting from being
handled and played with over the years. The vinyl is in great shape and there is no
damage anywhere on this item. Overall, it is in EX+ condition. On
the right, you can also see that we have one of these items in mint condition,
still sealed in its original packaging, and complete with Lisa's original
cardboard green saxophone.

This is a nearly
12" plush doll of Little Beeper, who has a red crest, red wing feathers,
orange body and tail feathers, and blue-and-white sneakers. He has a pink
felt tongue sticking out of his mouth. This doll is in near mint
condition, with one small spot the outside of Little Beeper's right leg being
the doll's main detraction. It was manufactured by Ace Novelty sometime
during the 1990s.

LITTLE BEEPER (Tiny Toon Adventures / Warner Brothers) miniature Christmas ornament
This is a
0.75x1.25" resin Christmas ornament showing Little Beeper standing on a
curved red snowboard with a green stripe down its middle. The ornament is
in mint condition and, best of all, it comes with its original box, which is in
nice condition. It was manufactured by Hallmark in 1995 as part of a
larger collection of Tiny Toons character miniature ornaments.

LITTLE BILL (Fat Albert / Filmation) doll
This is a 22"
stuffed cloth doll of Little Bill from the Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids.
He has a vinyl head and wears a striped shirt and denim overalls saying Hey!
Hey! Hey! I'm a 'Cosby Kid' on them in pale blue lettering. This doll
was manufactured by Remco in 1985 as part of a four-doll set. Little Bill
is in virtually perfect condition.

LITTLE BO PEEP doll
This lovely and
uncommon item is an 8.5" jointed vinyl doll of Little Bo Peep, who is in
mint condition and who appears never to have been removed from her box.
She wears a lacy white bonnet and a matching dress with a pink camisole over it,
and she holds a white shepherd's stick with a pink bow on it. This doll
comes with its original display stand as well. The box has some wear and
creasing, but it is intact and generally in nice condition. The back of
the box shows photographic images of all 12 dolls comprising the full set from
which Little Bo Peep herself originally came. This item was manufactured
by Fishel Toys. Although there is no date of manufacture anywhere on this
item, it appears to be a 1970s piece.

LITTLE LULU (Paramount / Famous Studios) fire hydrant bank
This
is a 7.5" hard vinyl bank of Little Lulu standing beside a black fire hydrant.
She wears a red pillbox-style hat, a red dress with a white collar, and brown shoes.
She stands on and against a rounded blue backdrop. The bank's coin slot is located on
the top, back portion of the blue rounded area; the original stopper is missing from the
underside of the bank. This item was manufactured by Play Pal Plastics during the
mid-1970s, along with a number of other cartoon and character banks that the company made
around the same time. Little Lulu is free of damage, but there are numerous small
spots of paint loss scattered about the item. This bank is in EX- to EX condition.

LITTLE LULU (Paramount / Famous Studios) cooking set
This oddity is a plastic cooking
set, featuring Little Lulu. The set consists of a grey skillet, an orange
kettle with a black handle, a grey covered pot, and a white utensil set
(spatula, spoon, ladle, and knife). These items are in mint condition and
have never been removed from their original clear-plastic blisterpack or their
original 7x4" cardboard mounting card. The top of the mounting card
shows Little Lulu in a red dress, happily cooking at her stove . . . using her
very own cooking set! This item was manufactured in 1974 by Larami.
The mounting card is undamaged, although the litho on the price punch-out is
missing and there is a remnant of the original price sticker remaining on part
of the image of Little Lulu.

LITTLE LULU (Paramount / Famous Studios) molded face doll
This lovely item is
a 14" stuffed cloth doll of Little Lulu, who has black string hair and a
molded cloth face. She is 100% complete and original, including her red dress
with the white collar and white lacy trim, red socks, and black shoes. This doll
also comes with a vinyl change purse of Little Lulu. The doll dates to 1944 and
may have been manufactured by Georgene, but the manufacturer is not indicated
anywhere on the doll. Little Lulu is in nearly perfect condition from the chin
down. She has minor paint loss between her eyebrows and another speck below her
left eye, and a small superficial dent on her left cheek. This is a nice example
of a vintage-era doll.

This oddball item
is a child's metallic charm bracelet that comes with charms of two dogs, two
persons, and a donkey. The item is in mint condition and it has never been
removed from its original clear-plastic blisterpack or its original 7x3"
cardboard mounting card. The mounting card has colorful graphics showing
Little Lulu walking along toward a white house with a red roof. The item
was manufactured by Larami sometime during the 1970s.

This is an 8"
vinyl bank showing Little Lulu standing on a round green base bearing her name

white purse. The bank's coin slot is located on the back of Little Lulu's
brown hair and the original stopper is present underneath the base. This
item was manufactured by Banthrico sometime during the 1970s. It is
undamaged and in NM+ condition.

This
is a 14" vinyl inflatable doll of Little Lulu, who is shown wearing a bright red
dress with her name on the breast pocket area and black shoes. When she is inflated,
the two swirling black curls on her forehead and the six straight hair locks on the sides
of her head all inflate, along with her head, body, and legs. This item was
manufactured in 1973 by Sanitoy. It is in mint condition and holds its air
perfectly.

This fun item is a
7" Pantry Pak featuring Little Lulu. The toy consists of miniature
packages of chocolate dairy cream sponge cake, tuna fish, sugar, green beans,
apple sauce, and frosted flakes. All are in mint, unused condition, still
sealed inside of their original clear-plastic blisterpack and mounted on their
original mounting card. The mounting card has a nice image of Little Lulu
returning home with a bag of groceries, as well as wooden shelves to hold the
toys themselves. This item was manufactured by Larami in 1974.

LITTLE LULU (Paramount / Famous Studios) farm set
This uncommon find
is a 10x5" plastic farm set featuring Little Lulu, who is shown walking
along on the upper portion of the cardboard mounting card on which this toy is
contained. The toy itself consists of seven plastic farm animals, a white
picket fence, two plastic trees, a red barn with a yellow roof, and a blue silo
tower with a red roof. This item was manufactured by Larami in 1974.
The toy is in mint, unused condition. The mounting card has one small area
(clearly visible in the photograph accompanying this description) in the upper
right-hand corner where the surface litho was torn off. It is, otherwise,
in very nice condition.

LITTLE LULU (Paramount / Famous Studios) large vinyl figure
This uncommon find
is a 13" jointed vinyl figure of Little Lulu, who wears a red cloth cap, a
red blouse with a white collar, white pants, and black shoes. The doll is
in NM to NM+ condition, with one mark on Little Lulu's right cheek being the
doll's only flaw. Best of all, this item comes with its
beautifully-colorful, fun original box. The box has creasing and side/edge
wear, but it is intact and probably in VG+ condition overall. Little Lulu
was manufactured by Bucky sometime during the 1980s, and she was imported into
the United States from one of the countries in Latin America. She's a
tough item to find, especially with her original box.

This
is a hard vinyl bank of Little Lulu, who is shown standing beside a light blue baby
carriage. She is wearing a red pillbox-style hat, a red dress with a white collar,
brown shoes, and black socks. This item was manufactured by Play Pal Plastics in
1973. It stands 10.25" tall. The coin slot is located on the top, back
portion of Little Lulu's hair; the original generic plastic stopper is no longer present
on the underside of Little Lulu's feet. The bank is free of damage but does have
numerous small spots of paint wear scattered about it. Overall, the bank is in VG
condition.

LITTLE LULU (Paramount / Famous Studios) toy baking set
This uncommon find
is a mint, unused plastic toy showing Little Lulu’s Baking Set. It consists of
a green whale cookie cutter, a pink dove cookie cutter, a yellow butterfly
cookie cutter, a white-and-orange rolling pin, a pink measuring cup, and a white
scoop. The 7x4" cardboard mounting card shows Little Lulu using her own
baking set to make cookies atop her green tablecloth. The mounting card is
intact and undamaged, with corner curling. This item was manufactured by Larami
in 1974.

LITTLE MISS MUFFET (Mother Goose) doll
This incredibly
nifty find is a 15" jointed vinyl doll of Little Miss Muffet (here, spelled
Lil' Miss Muffet by the manufacturer), who has blonde doll hair, a red bow in
her hair, a black dress with white lacy doilies on it, white lacy socks, and
white vinyl shoes. She is shown in a walking pose, holding onto the
receiver of her pink princess telephone. This doll is in mint condition
and, best of all, she comes with her original box, which has pink, green, and
white graphics. This Miss Muffet doll was manufactured by Lovee Doll
sometime during the 1960s.
