JEAN LaFOOTE (Cap'n Crunch / advertising) bank

  This uncommon find is a 7.5" vinyl bank showing Cap'n Crunch's nemesis, Jean LaFoote, standing and happily holding a white sword with a yellow handle in his right hand.  He wears a purple hat with a black edge, a green outfit, and a black belt with a yellow buckle.  The bank's coin slot is located on top of Jean LaFoote's hat and what appears to be a (snug fitting) replacement stopper is present underneath his feet.  This item was manufactured by Niagara Plastics sometime during the 1960s or early 1970s.  It is in near mint condition, with minor paint loss, mostly on the top of Jean LaFoote's hat and a rough area on the surface of his red tongue (clearly visible in the photograph) where the paint and plastic were scraped (presumably by the previous child owner trying forcefully to insert a coin into his mouth).

JEANNIE (I Dream of Jeannie) posable doll

  This uncommon find is a 7" vinyl posable doll (i.e., action figure) of Jeannie from the 1960s television series I Dream of Jeannie.  The doll shows Jeannie wearing a blue harem outfit with gold trim, light blue shoes, and a blue purse.  It is complete and in mint condition, having never been removed from its original box.  The box has two tears on the corners above Jeanie's head (visible in the photograph accompanying this description) as well as some litho loss on the left side (which otherwise was "blank" pink) where the doll's previous owner carelessly removed the original price sticker.  The back of the box has colorful drawings and photographs showing this doll in use with various fashion accessories.  Jeannie was manufactured by Remco in 1977.

JEFFY (Family Circus) bisque figurine

  This is a 3.75" bisque figurine showing middle child, Jeffy, from the long-running The Family Circus comic strip, sitting on an off-white hassock while he reads a book entitled My First Reader.  The problem, however, is that the book is being held upside-down!  Jeffy has pale brown hair, pale blue clothing, and light brown shoes.  This cute item was manufactured as part of a larger collection of Family Circus character figurines and is entitled "One for the Books."  It was manufactured by Clay In Mind, and probably dates to the 1980s.  It is undamaged and shows only slight evidence of minor wear, leaving Jeffy in NM+ condition.

JERRY (Tom & Jerry / MGM) finger puppet

  This is a 2.75" soft rubber finger puppet of Jerry, who was sold along with a Tom counterpart.  He is shown from the midriff upward, with both hands clasped together on his belly.  This item is undamaged and in VG+ condition, with some paint loss being its only problem.  Jerry was manufactured in 1973 but his copyright information does not indicate who made him.  We currently have Jerry's counterpart in stock at this time, and we will discount the price to $20 for the pair if you purchase them in a single transaction.

JERRY (Tom & Jerry / MGM) Christmas ornament

  This is a 2.25" composition Christmas ornament of Jerry, who is shown as an angry swordsman.  He wears a purple hat and a blue-and-yellow chest protector.  He holds a grey sword/epee in his right hand.  This item is in virtually perfect condition and it retains its original gold lame hanging cord.  Jerry was manufactured by Gorham in 1981 as part of a four-item mix-and-match set that also included Tom, Droopy, and Barney Bear.  If you decide to purchase any four of these items in a single transaction, we will include the original box at no additional cost to you.

JERRY (Tom & Jerry / MGM) water pistol

  This is a 6" brown vinyl water pistol of Jerry, who has an enlarged head and a small body.  He has pivoting ears with pink accents, and a white trigger beneath his chin.  This item is in NM condition, with one spot of paint wear on the pink accent of Jerry's right ear being the item's only flaw.  It was manufactured by Marx in 1973 along with a Tom counterpart.

JERRY (Tom and Jerry / MGM) wind-up walker

  This is a 3" plastic white-knob wind-up walker of Jerry, who is shown as a baseball player, complete with a blue ballcap, a baseball in his right hand, and a lavender bat in his left hand.  This toy is in mint, unused condition and it remains sealed inside of its original clear-plastic blisterpack and mounted on its original cardboard mounting card.  The mounting card has terrific graphics of Tom and Jerry on front, and on back, there are three sets of photographs showing complete sets of the Tom and Jerry (and friends) wind-up toys, hand puppets, and PVC figures that the manufacturer also made at the same time.  As the photograph accompanying this description shows, there is an area on the upper right-hand portion of the mounting card where Jerry's previous owner carelessly removed a price sticker or two.  Otherwise, the card is in nice condition.  This item was manufactured in 1989 by Multi Toys Corp.

JERRY (Tom & Jerry / MGM) plastic figure

  This is a 4.25" plastic figure of Jerry, who is shown standing atop a green palette-shaped platform.  His right arm is bent upward as if he is making a muscle, and his left arm is bent akimbo at the hip.  This item was manufactured in 1973 by Marx along with a Tom figure.  Jerry is undamaged and has minor paint loss on his green base and snout, along with a black mark around his eyes.  Overall, this item is in EX+ condition.

JERRY (Tom & Jerry / MGM) squeak toy

  This is a 3.75" rubber squeak toy showing Jerry waving with his right hand while looking up and smiling.  This item wheezes more than it squeaks, although the toy is undamaged and the original squeaking mechanism is present.  Jerry has lost some of his accent paint (although he was always primarily flesh-colored), leaving him in EX condition.  He was manufactured by Alan Jay and probably dates to the 1960s.

JERRY (Tom & Jerry / MGM) PVC figure -- on hassock

  This is a 3.25" PVC figure showing Jerry wearing a pink shirt with light blue flowers, and white shorts.  He stands atop a yellow spinning hassock with blue legs.  This item is in virtually perfect condition.  It was manufactured in 1989, but Jerry's copyright information does not indicate who made him.

JERRY (Tom & Jerry / MGM) vinyl squirting figure

  This is a 2.75" soft vinyl figure showing Jerry sitting atop a yellow sea shell, inside of a blue duck innertube.  The duck's mouth has a small hole in it that enables the item to absorb water when squeezed and submerged, and then squirt out the water like a small water pistol when squeezed when not submerged.  This item is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured in 1993 and it bears only the Turner Entertainment Company copyright regarding the manufacturer.

JERRY (Tom & Jerry / MGM) cookie cutter

  This is a 4.75" transparent red plastic cookie cutter showing Jerry standing and giggling with his hands behind his back.  The dark vertical line that passes through his face and body is actually the handle on the reverse side of the cookie cutter showing through the plastic.  This item was manufactured as part of a set that also included Barney Bear, Dinky Duck, Tom, and Droopy Dog.  It dates to 1956 and is copyrighted Loew's Inc.  Jerry is undamaged and he has some use-related wear on his cutting surface high points, leaving him in near mint condition.

JERRY (Tom & Jerry / MGM) collector's glass

  This is a 6.25" thick (i.e., Brockway-style) collector's glass showing Jerry leaning forward and looking upward, smiling.  He is blue in color, with white accents on his muzzle, ears, and chest.  The glass has black lettering and a white Pepsi logo located between the two images of Jerry.  It was manufactured in 1975 as part of a MGM cartoon character Pepsi Collector's Series set of glasses.  Jerry is in virtually perfect condition and he retains all of his original glossiness.

JERRY (Tom & Jerry / MGM) squeak toy

  This is a 4.25" rubber squeak toy of Jerry, who is shown with big ears, standing with both arms bent upward.  When squeezed, this item gives off a hearty squeaking sound.  It is undamaged and in EX+ condition, with minor paint loss on Jerry's eyebrows, muzzle, and chest.  The toy probably dates to the 1960s and there is no indication anywhere on it as to who made it.

JERRY (Tom & Jerry / MGM) cheese wedge bank

  This cute item is a ceramic bank featuring Jerry, from MGM's Tom and Jerry cartoons, popping up from a large hole in a wedge of Swiss cheese that he has been eating . . . to the point of making himself overweight in the belly.  This bank is 4" tall, 4.5" at its widest, and 5.5" from end to end.  The original generic white rubber stopper is present on the underside of the bank.  This item was manufactured by Gorham in 1981 as part of a larger collection of Tom and Jerry banks and musicals that the company made at and around that time.  This item is in mint condition.

JERRY (Tom & Jerry / MGM) beanbag doll

  This is an 8" plush doll of Jerry, who has a beanbag-style filling in his belly.  He wears a red bowtie and is shown standing and looking slightly off toward his left side, smiling.  The doll is in mint condition and it retains its original cardboard hang tag (still affixed to Jerry's left ear) and its original manufacturer's label (still sewn into his right thigh).  Jerry was manufactured in 1998 for exclusive distribution in the now-defunct Warner Brothers Studio Stores.

   This is a 3.75" clear red plastic cookie cutter showing Jerry's smiling head.  This item was manufactured in 1956 as part of a larger collection of MGM cartoon character cookie cutters that also included Dinky Duck, Barney Bear, Tom, and Droopy Dog.  This item is in NM to NM+ condition and it is copyrighted Loews Inc.

JERRY MAHONEY hand puppet

  This beautiful item is a genuinely rare find!  It is an 11" vinyl hand puppet of Jerry Mahoney.  He has bright red hair and lips to match.  The hand puppet's "body" is blue in color with green graphics showing Jerry Mahoney standing with a microphone (or a gavel or a hammer?) in his left hand.  The puppet is in as close to perfect condition as anyone could hope for.  Best of all, it comes with its original box.  The box has colorful graphics on the back and sides, showing Paul Winchell holding his own Jerry Mahoney puppet, along with images of some of his other famous characters.  On the box's back, the Paul Winchell image is shown speaking to the child owner of this toy, saying Hi boys and girls!  I personally carved these puppets just for you . . . . Have fun after which he has signed his name. The box is in VG- condition, with corner tearing and edge wear, but it is completely present and intact.  The copyright information shows that this item was manufactured in 1966 but does not indicate who made it.

JESSICA RABBIT (Roger Rabbit / Walt Disney) figurine

  This is a 5.5" ceramic figurine showing Jessica Rabbit posing seductively with a happy red fire hydrant.  She wears a long raspberry-colored dress, pink shoes, and bicep-length purple gloves.  This item is in mint condition.  The copyright information does not indicate who made it or when the figurine was manufactured, although it probably dates to the later 1980s.

JETSONS (Hanna Barbera) wind-up train

  This nifty item is a 12" long tin wind-up toy named the Jetson Express.  It features four metal train cars (one locomotive engine and three trailing cars), each with a different Jetsons character shown in the window.  George Jetson drives the locomotive with Jane right behind him, Rosie the Robot behind her, and Elroy in back.  When the wind-up knob is turned and the train is placed on a hard, smooth surface, the train chugs right along just as it is supposed to.  This item was manufactured by Marx in 1962.  It is undamaged and in nice working condition, with only minor wear on the tin litho.  At worst, this item is in near mint condition . . . quite nice for a vintage-era Hanna Barbera tin toy!

JETSONS (Hanna Barbera) PVC figure

  This PVC figure is 2" tall and 2.75" wide.  It shows Elroy Jetson, Astro, and Judy Jetson sitting at the helm of a red shield-shaped space vehicle with upwardly-curved "wings."  The item is in virtually perfect condition.  It was manufactured by Applause in 1990.

JETSONS (Hanna Barbera) star scope

  This is a 7.5" plastic Jetsons Star Scope, similar to a kaleidoscope but with an external wheel rather than an internal movable dial.  The yellow handle has a decal with images of Jane, George, Judy, Elroy, and Astro.  The toy is in mint, unused condition and it remains sealed inside of its original clear-plastic blisterpack and mounted on its original 12x6" cardboard mounting card.  The mounting card has images showing George Jetson speaking with Elroy Jetson, and another of the Jetsons flying through space in their space car.  This item was manufactured by Ja-Ru in 1990.

  This is a 5.5" syrocco figure showing Jiminy Cricket standing atop a rounded base with a flat-edged front.  He wears a top hat, a tuxedo jacket, and is shown resting his left hand on an umbrella.  This item was given out as a promotional "thank you" token from the United Fund during its 1961 annual campaign fund.  It is undamaged and in no worse than near mint condition.  The back of Jiminy's base is incised with Walt Disney Productions.

JIMINY CRICKET (Pinocchio / Walt Disney) blue cup

      This is a 3.75" light blue plastic cup of Jiminy Cricket, who is shown from the neck upward.  He has googly flasher eyes that change positions and appearance as the light reflects differently on them from different angles.  Jiminy's name appears in raised-relief lettering on the lower brim of his hat.  This cup is in NM+ condition.  It probably dates to the 1950s or 1960s and was manufactured along with other similar cups produced in different colors.  There is no indication anywhere on this item as to who made it.  As you can see on the right of that item, we also have the pink variation of this item as well.  It, too, is in NM+ condition.  Finally, we also have the yellow variation of this item in stock.  Like the others, it is in nearly perfect condition.

JIMINY CRICKET (Pinocchio / Walt Disney) large ceramic figurine

  This uncommon find is a 5.5" ceramic figurine of Jiminy Cricket, who is shown looking upward, smiling, as he prepares to tip his blue top hat with the black band.  He also wears a white shirt, a mulberry-colored ascot, a black tuxedo jacket, maroon pants, lime green socks, and black shoes with brown spats.  This item was manufactured by Enesco sometime during the 1960s, and the original red-and-gold copyright sticker is present underneath Jiminy's feet.  This item is undamaged and in NM to NM+ condition, with a couple of small surface scratches in the paint on the back of Jiminy's top hat being the item's only flaw.  Overall, he's in nice condition and is quite a rare find.

  This is a 3.75" juice glass showing Jiminy Cricket proudly standing in profile, looking over his right shoulder, holding his right hand up/out in front of him.  He wears a green top hat, a green tuxedo jacket, a yellow shirt, a red vest, black pants, and red shoes with yellow spats.  The glass bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and probably dates to the 1960s.  There is no indication anywhere on the item as to who made it.  Jiminy's decal is in nearly perfect condition, with very minor wear, leaving the item in NM+ condition overall.

JIMINY CRICKET (Pinocchio / Walt Disney) Italian squeak toy

  This is an 11" rubber squeak toy of Jiminy Cricket, who gives off a hearty squeaking sound when squeezed.  He wears a green top hat, a white shirt with a raised collar, a black tuxedo jacket, a yellow ascot, light blue pants, and yellow-and-brown shoes.  This item was manufactured in Italy by Ledra, the company whose logo is the elephant inside of a circle.  It probably dates to the 1960s.  Jiminy Cricket is undamaged and in nearly perfect condition--by far one of the best examples of this item that we have encountered in our travels!

This item is in virtually perfect condition.  It was manufactured by Schmid sometime during the 1970s.

  This beautiful item is a 10" hard-stuffed plush doll of Jiminy Cricket, who has a vinyl face and vinyl black top hat.  He wears his original white shirt, turquoise necktie, black buttons, and black felt jacket.  This item was manufactured by Gund as part of its Gundikins series of dolls.  Jiminy Cricket is in NM+ condition--unusually nice for an item of this vintage.  He probably dates to the 1960s and he still retains his original manufacturer's label, which is sewn securely into his left thigh.

  This is a 2.75" ceramic figurine of Jiminy Cricket, who is shown holding his blue top hat with the yellow band with his raised right hand.  Jiminy wears a black tuxedo jacket, a yellow ascot, a red vest, grey pants, blue shoes, and yellow spats.  He is undamaged but he does have numerous small spots of minor paint loss in the "cold paint," particularly on the blue areas.  He is in EX+ condition.  This item bears the Walt Disney Productions copyright marking and it probably dates to the 1960s or earlier 1970s.  There is no indication anywhere on Jiminy Cricket regarding who made him.

JIMINY CRICKET (Pinocchio / Walt Disney) plush doll

  This Jiminy Cricket doll has a stuffed cloth body and a plush head, and it stands approximately 15" tall. Jiminy wears a blue top hat, a yellow shirt, a red vest, a black tuxedo jacket with a white vinyl raised collar, tan pants, and blue shoes with yellow tops/socks. He holds a red umbrella in his left hand. This doll is in near mint condition, with a few spots of minor paint loss on Jiminy Cricket’s glued-on plastic eyes being the doll’s primary shortcoming. It was manufactured by Mattel in 1992.
