ZIGGY "love ya" doll

  This is an 8.5" stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a beanbag-style filling in his torso.  He wears a bright red shirt that says love ya! in tan lettering on the front.  The doll is in NM+ condition and retains its original manufacturer's label, which is also in very nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's rear end.  It shows that he was manufactured by Knickerbocker in 1981.

ZIGGY desk tile -- plants

  This is a 4.25" square ceramic desk tile of Ziggy, who is shown surrounded by several potted house plants.  The bubble caption above him says Plants are some of my favorite people!! in black lettering.  This item was manufactured by WWA and it probably dates to the early 1980s.  It is in NM+ condition and retains its original gold foil manufacturer's sticker, located between the upper prongs of the pull-out stand on the reverse side of the tile.

ZIGGY doll -- kiss me

  This is an 8" stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a vinyl head.  He wears a bright green outfit and a matching tam, with his shirt saying Kiss me . . . I'm Irish! in white lettering.  He wears a garter on his left sleeve and has a felt shamrock on the band on his hat.  This doll is undamaged and in NM to NM+ condition, with some dinginess on Ziggy's nose being its only flaw.  It was manufactured by American Greetings in 1988.

ZIGGY melted mug votive candle holder

  This is a 2.25" ceramic melted mug showing Ziggy as a beat-up college graduate wearing a blue cap and gown.  He has a bruised nose and a Band-Aid on his right cheek.  The red caption above him on this melted mug says Graduate of the school of hard knocks.  Inside of the mug there is a white votive candle that has never been used.  This item is in virtually perfect condition.  It was manufactured by Enesco in 1989.

ZIGGY Nighty Night doll

  This is a larger-than-average Ziggy doll, measuring approximately 13" from the top of his white nightcap with the red and blue stripes to the soles of his white bunny slippers.  Ziggy wears pajamas matching his nightcap, saying Nighty Night on front in blue lettering.  This doll is undamaged and in near mint condition, with some light surface marks on the vinyl of Ziggy's face and one small stained streak on his nightcap.  If the nightcap were to be removed carefully and put into a washing machine, it almost assuredly would come out clean, as the stain does not look to be a deep or a permanent one.  Ziggy was manufactured in 1986 by American Greetings.

ZIGGY bell-shaped Christmas ornament

  This cute item is a 2.5" ceramic bell-shaped Christmas ornament featuring an exuberant Ziggy.  Above him, in green script, the ornament says Merry Everything.  He is shown dressed as Santa Claus, holding his hat in his left hand as he does a happy dance.  Inside of the ornament is the original clapper, too.  This item was manufactured in 1980, probably by WWA Inc.  It is in mint condition.

ZIGGY snowdome -- love is in the air

  This is a 3.75" plastic snowdome showing Ziggy dancing in joy, arms and right foot raised in the air.  The red cursive lettering caption on the front of the off-white base says Love is in the air!  When shaken, the "snow" that falls consists of small red plastic hearts.  This item was manufactured in 1980 by WWA.  It is undamaged and has just minor surface wear, leaving Ziggy in NM+ condition.

ZIGGY mirror

  This is an 8x6.25" mirror of Ziggy, framed in a wood frame.  We blacked out the mirror surface in the photograph, just to avoid confusion as to what the images looked like and what was being reflected in the mirror's surface--hence its black appearance.  Rest assured, though, that this is a normal mirror that reflects just fine.  On top, the blue, block-lettering caption says Father of the Year and in the lower right-hand corner, Ziggy is shown pointing up toward that caption saying That's you Dad! with his own bubble caption.  This item was manufactured by American Greetings in 1982.  It retains its original "to / from" gift sticker on back of the mirror as well as its original price tags, showing that it used to cost 79¢.  Those were the days, huh?!  The mirror is undamaged and shows just slight surface wear, leaving it in no worse than near mint (probably NM+) condition.

ZIGGY beer glass -- tennis player

  This is a 6.75" heavy-duty beer glass showing Ziggy sitting haplessly in front of a tennis net, yellow racket by his right side, with a tennis ball stuffed into his mouth.  This item is in NM+ condition, and it retains all of its original glossiness.  It was manufactured in 1977 but the copyright information does not indicate who made it.

ZIGGY beanbag doll -- love you

  This is a beanbag-style doll of Ziggy, who has a firmly-stuffed face, stuffed arms and feet, and a beanbag-style body filling.  He wears a bright green shirt that ways Love You! on it in light green and red lettering, as well as a white ski cap with a red pompon on his head.  This doll was manufactured in 1981 by Applause.  It is in mint condition and it still retains its original manufacturer's label, which is also in very nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's left hip.

ZIGGY wooden Christmas ornament -- ice skating Santa

  This is a 3.75" wooden Christmas ornament showing Ziggy wearing a Santa Claus outfit as he stands atop a pair of wooden ice skates.  This item is in nearly perfect condition.  It probably dates to the 1980s, but there is no indication anywhere on Ziggy as to who made him or when he was made.

ZIGGY doll -- blue bunny outfit

  This is a 17" soft stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a beanbag-type filling in his feet.  he wears a yellow bowtie and a pale blue bunny outfit.  This doll is in virtually perfect condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's left hip.  It shows that he was made by Kellytoy in 1999.

ZIGGY mug -- save the Earth

  This is a 4" plastic mug showing an orange-clad Ziggy lovingly holding planet Earth, which is marked Handle with care in red block lettering.  The caption above and beneath him says Save the Earth . . . it's the only one we've got!!  This item is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Thermo-Serv in 1990 as part of a set of ecology-themed Ziggy mugs.

ZIGGY doll -- count your blessings

  This is a 7.25" soft stuffed Ziggy doll with a beanbag-style filling in the torso.  He wears a light blue shirt with blue-and-white checked sleeves.  The caption on his shirt says Count your blessings . . . not sheep!  This item was manufactured by Kellytoy in 1998.  It is in NM+ condition and comes with its original manufacturer's label (in nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's left hip) and its original cardboard hang tag (curled and folded, but intact and affixed to Ziggy's left hand).

ZIGGY cookie jar

  This lovely and tough-to-find item is a 10.5" ceramic cookie jar showing Ziggy sitting atop a stack of five Oreo-type cookies.  He wears a yellow outfit and is shown chomping on a small cookie of his own.  This item is undamaged and in NM+ condition.  Ziggy was manufactured by WWA in 1982.

ZIGGY Class of '88 doll

  This is an 8" doll of Ziggy with a soft stuffed body and a vinyl head.  Ziggy is wearing a royal blue graduation cap and gown, complete with its original tassel, as he celebrates the Class of '88.  Beneath the gown, he wears lighter blue pants/shorts.   Ziggy was manufactured by American Greetings in 1988 and is one of many similar dolls that the company made around and since that time.  This one is undamaged and in NM to NM+ condition.  It retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in great shape and sewn securely into Ziggy's right hip.

ZIGGY resin figure -- A+ teacher

  This is a 2.5" resin figure showing Ziggy wearing an orange shirt with a gold heart on it.  In his right hand, he holds an enormous yellow pencil; in his left hand, he holds a white paper with a red A+ on it.  The front of his yellow display box says A+ Teacher on it in blue lettering.  This item is in mint condition.  It was manufactured by Russ Berrie in 2005.

ZIGGY "hug the chef" doll

  This is an 8" stuffed cloth doll showing Ziggy as a chef. He wears a poofy white chef’s hat, a yellow shirt, and a white apron saying Hug the chef! In blue lettering. He holds a grey spatula in his right hand. This doll is in mint condition and it comes with its original cardboard hang tag. Ziggy was manufactured in 2006 by Nanco.

ZIGGY enameled metal cup / mug

  This is a 2.75" metal cup / mug with an enamel coating.  It is primarily white in color with an orange rim.  It shows Ziggy happily swinging from a yellow star, beneath the multi-colored caption saying Life Swings.  This item is undamaged and it has minimal wear, leaving it in NM+ condition.  Ziggy was manufactured sometime during the 1980s and there is no indication anywhere on this item as to who made it.

  This is a 3x5.5" heavy-duty glazed earthenware soup mug showing a happy-looking Ziggy sitting at a table, eating a bowl of soup.  He wears a blue shirt and a red napkin around his neck.  The caption above and beside him says Soup-er person.  This item is in mint condition.  It was manufactured by WWA in 1980.

ZIGGY bookend

  This is a 5" heavy ceramic bookend.  It is shaped like a capital "L" and is white in color.  Ziggy is shown leaning against the upright, as if trying to hold it upright.  He is clad in orange.  This item was manufactured by WWA in 1982.  It retains its original green felt protective undercovering and its original gold foil manufacturer's sticker.  Ziggy is undamaged and in near mint condition.

ZIGGY doll -- certified genius

  This is an 8.5" hard-stuffed cloth doll with a beanbag-type filling in the belly/torso.  It shows Ziggy wearing a maroon vinyl mortarboard with a matching tassel, and a maroon outfit with grey lettering showing that he is a Certified Genius.  The doll is in NM+ condition.  It was manufactured by Applause in 1981.

ZIGGY trophy -- baseball all star

  This is a 5" plastic trophy showing Ziggy as a baseball player who has a ball-sized hole in his tan baseball bat.  He wears a green-and-yellow outfit along with white sneakers with blue and white cleats.  The metallic face plate on the front of the trophy's black rectangular base says All Star in block stars-and-stripes lettering.  This item is in mint condition and it retains its original red felt protective undercovering and its original manufacturer's foil sticker.  Ziggy was made by Aviva in 1980.

ZIGGY heart-shaped candy dish

  This is a 6" porcelain candy dish showing Ziggy happily resting on a red heart-shaped pillow.  The dish itself is heart-shaped, white in color, with a gold rim.  The black caption above Ziggy says Love is a nice cozy feeling.  This item is in mint condition.  It was manufactured by WWA in 1980.

ZIGGY doll -- love ya!

  This is a 6" soft stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, whose torso has a beanbag-type filling in it.  He wears a red-and-green striped ski hat with a matching muffler, and a red outfit saying Love Ya! on it in front.  Ziggy is in mint condition.  He was manufactured by American Greetings in 1983.

ZIGGY trophy  -- Darn I'm Good

  This is a 5" plastic trophy of Ziggy, who is shown wearing an orange shirt and standing with his eyes closed, head/nose up, smiling.  The black-lettering caption on the metallic face plate of the trophy's base says Darn! I'm Good!!  This item was manufactured by Aviva in 1980 along with several other Ziggy trophies, each showing him in a different pose and with a different caption on the base.  The original gold foil manufacturer's sticker is intact on the back of the black base, as is the red felt protective covering on the underside of the base.  There is some mottling evident on the front of the face plate, but otherwise, this item is without damage or wear.  It is in near mint condition overall.

ZIGGY Christmas tree plastic garland

  This unusual find is a mint condition, unused, sealed package of Ziggy plastic garland, intended for use as decoration for a Christmas tree.  It is 8 feet long and features groups of 7 red beads separated by a single red heart, 7 more beads, another heart, and so forth.  In the middle of it all, there is an image of Ziggy, who is shown saying Christmas is caring.  The cardboard header card has fun graphics showing Fuzz running toward Ziggy with a tree ornament while Ziggy himself decorates his own Christmas tree.  This item was manufactured by WWA in 1980.

ZIGGY Class of '88 doll

  This is a 7.5" cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a vinyl head.  He wears a brown shirt, brown shorts, and a grey hooded sweatshirt saying Class of '88 on front in black lettering.  This doll is in virtually perfect condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's right hip.  It shows that he was manufactured by American Greetings in 1986.

ZIGGY golfer / duffer figure

  This is a 6" hard vinyl figure of Ziggy, who wears a yellow shirt saying Duffer on it in red lettering.  He also wears a red-and-white checked cap, matching shorts, and white sneakers with red laces.  In his left hand, there is a silver golf club.  This figure is in near mint condition, with some surface dirt marks being its main detraction.  Ziggy appears never to have been used and he still has his original cardboard hang tag affixed to his left hand.  He was manufactured in 1988 by Summit Corp.

ZIGGY salt and pepper set

  This is a 2.75" ceramic salt and pepper set featuring a jubilant-looking Ziggy wearing an orange shirt.  With his arms raised above him, his yellow bubble caption says Everyone likes a good egg!  Both pieces are in mint condition and both retain their original stoppers underneath the eggs.  The copyright information does not indicate who made these items or when they were manufactured, but they are probably early 1980s pieces.

  This is a 7" stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who is shown wearing a red-and-green striped cap with a red pompon, a matching scarf, a red shirt, and red shorts.  His shirt says Love Ya! in white lettering.  This doll is in nearly perfect condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label.  Ziggy was manufactured by American Greetings in 1984.

ZIGGY graduation bank

  This is a 5.75" hard vinyl bank showing Ziggy as a graduate clad in a blue cap and gown, complete with a yellow mortarboard tassel and a white rolled-up diploma in his right hand. He stands atop a grey pedestal that says Most Likely to Exceed on it in light blue lettering. The bank’s coin slot is located on top of the mortarboard and the original stopper is present underneath the pedestal. There is no indication anywhere on Ziggy as to who made him or when he was manufactured, although our best guestimate is that this is a 1990s piece. It is in nearly perfect condition.

ZIGGY beanbag doll -- I'm all yours

  This is an 8" doll of Ziggy, who has a firmly-stuffed head, soft stuffed arms and legs, and a beanbag-type of filling inside of his body.  He wears a green outfit that says I'm ALL YOURS in dark green lettering.  This doll is in NM+ condition and it still retains its original manufacturer's label, which is sewn securely into Ziggy's rear end.  He was made by Applause in 1981.

ZIGGY ceramic figurine -- lipstick on nose

  This is a 3.25" ceramic figurine of Ziggy, who is shown standing with his eyes closed, head tilted backward/upward, with a nice grin on his face.  He has a red lipstick mark on the tip of his nose, and is shown wearing an orange outfit.  This item is in NM to NM+ condition, with a few small specks of minor paint loss (visible in the photograph accompanying this description) on Ziggy's shirt being its only flaw.  The figurine was manufactured in 1982 by American Greetings as part of a larger set of Ziggy figurines.

ZIGGY Class of '91 doll

  This is a 7.5" cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a vinyl head.  He wears a two-tone blue baseball cap, a blue shirt with light blue trim, and a light blue satiny bowtie.  His shirt says Class of '91 in light blue lettering.  This doll is in virtually perfect condition.  It retains its original manufacturer's label and its original cardboard hang tag.  Ziggy was made by American Greetings in 1988.

ZIGGY purple graduation doll

  This is a 7.25" stuffed Ziggy doll showing him as a graduate.  He has a purple bodysuit, a maroon mortarboard, and a navy blue tassel.  This item was manufactured by American Greetings in 1983.  It retains its original manufacturer's label, which is in very nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's right hip.  This item is in nearly perfect condition with just the slightest traces of use-related wear or soiling.  At worst, Ziggy is in NM+ condition.

ZIGGY plastic trinket box -- rainbow

  This plastic trinket box of Ziggy is 1.75" tall, 3" from top to bottom, and nearly 5" wide. It features a happy Ziggy standing beneath a rainbow with his hands clasped together, smile on his face, red shirt on his body. Above him, the black caption reads, "Smile . . . God loves you." This item was manufactured by WWA Inc. in 1982. There are two spots of paint missing from Ziggy’s chin and nose and there is some wear on the original gold foil manufacturer’s sticker, which is affixed to the underside of the trinket box. Overall, this item is in NM- condition and is nice, bright, and colorful.

ZIGGY ceramic figurine -- holding heart

  This is a 2.5" ceramic figurine of Ziggy, who wears a mustard-colored outfit.  He happily holds a red heart with both hands, directly in front of him.  This item is undamaged and in NM- condition, with some paint loss on the heart.  Ziggy retains his original gold foil copyright sticker, showing that he was manufactured by American Greetings in 1982.

ZIGGY oven mitts

  This is a 32" quilted cloth oven mitt, ostensibly yellow in color.  Both of the hand pockets have the same image, showing an orange Good Luck horse shoe falling on top of Ziggy's head, leaving him with a bump there.  This item is undamaged and in near mint condition, with minor evidence of having been used at some point in the past.  Ziggy's manufacturer's label is present, but it does not indicate who made them item or when it was manufactured.  In all likelihood, this is an earlier 1980s piece.

ZIGGY Christmas ornament -- Santa with mistletoe

  This is a 3" hard vinyl Christmas ornament showing Ziggy wearing an oversized Santa Claus suit, green mittens, and green shoes.  He looks upward as a sprig of mistletoe balances on the tip of his nose.  This ornament is in virtually perfect condition.  It was manufactured by Enesco in 1990.

ZIGGY doll -- Merry Everything!

  This is a 14" soft stuffed doll of Ziggy, who has a beanbag-type filling in his arms, torso, and feet.  He wears a bright green shirt that says Merry Everything! in yellow lettering.  The doll is in virtually perfect condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is sewn securely into Ziggy's left hip.  It shows that he was manufactured by Kellytoy in 1998.

ZIGGY earthenware piggy bank

  This is an earthenware bank of Ziggy, standing 6.5" tall.  It features Ziggy in a yellow shirt, happily holding a pale pink piggy-shaped piggy bank in front of him.   This item's coin slot is located on the top of the piggy and the original generic black rubber stopper is present on the underside of Ziggy's feet.  This item was manufactured in 1981 by WWA Inc., as indicated on its original manufacturer's foil sticker, which is present on the underside of the bank.  Ziggy has no cracks, dings, or damage of any kind.  There is a small area of paint wear on the tip of the piggy's right ear.  Otherwise, this item is free of paint loss.  Overall, it is in near mint condition and is one of the tougher Ziggy items to find.

ZIGGY doll -- Pilgrim

  This is an 8" stuffed cloth doll of Ziggy, who has a vinyl head and a thin blue plastic hat.  He is dressed as a Pilgrim in celebration of Thanksgiving, and is shown wearing a white bib that says Happy Turkey Day! in brown lettering.  This doll is in NM+ condition and it retains its original manufacturer's label, which is also in nice condition and sewn securely into Ziggy's right hip.  It shows that he was manufactured by American Greetings in 1994.

  This is a 10.5" putty-colored plush doll of Ziggy, who wears an aqua-colored outfit.  His shirt says I download cookies and shows two partly-eaten chocolate chip cookies.  The doll is in NM+ condition and it retains its original cardboard hang tag, which remains affixed to Ziggy's right hand.  It shows that he was made by Kellytoy in 2003.

  This is a 2.25" ceramic Christmas ornament showing Ziggy wearing a red shirt and a Santa Claus hat.  In front of him, he holds a green package with white polka dots and a light blue ribbon on it.  Ziggy was manufactured by American Greetings in 1983.  He retains his original green paper copyright sticker underneath his feet.  This ornament is free of damage but does have numerous small spots of paint wear on the red cold paint on Ziggy's hat and shirt.  Overall, he is in EX to EX+ condition.

  This is a 6" stuffed cloth Ziggy doll with a vinyl head.  He is shown wearing a purple shirt that says Boo! I luv you! in white block lettering.  Ziggy is shown popping out of a jack-o-lantern and holds a cardboard gift tag in his right hand, shaped like an orange trick-or-treat sack.  This doll was manufactured by American Greetings in 1990.  It is in NM+ condition and retains its original manufacturer's label too.

ZIGGY large snowdome

  This is a 4" plastic snowdome showing Ziggy fearfully skiing downhill on a pair of white skis with red stripes on them.  He looks over his right shoulder, only to find a tall brown bear riding on his skis behind him.  The white, block lettering caption on the front of the green base of this snowdome says Have a beary, merry Christmas.  This item is in mint condition and it comes with its original box and its original Styrofoam protective insert.  The box is intact and undamaged, with some edge wear.  Ziggy was manufactured by Enesco in 1990 and was named Beary Merry Christmas Waterball by the manufacturer.

ZIGGY snowdome -- conductor

  This is a 2.5" tall plastic snowdome showing Ziggy as an orchestra conductor, complete with blue pants, blue bowtie, and a black tux.  He stands in front of his canary inside of its birdcage with his conductor's baton raised in the air.  The red, block-lettering caption on the snowdome's yellow base reads Keep a song in your heart!  Instead of white snow-type flakes inside of the snowdome, there are black musical notes that float around when the object is shaken.  There is no indication as to who made this item, but its copyright information does show that it was made in 1982.  It is in nearly perfect condition, with some minor glue residue on the face of the snowdome lingering after our initial gentle attempt at cleaning the item.

ZIGGY bisque bell -- hanging Ziggy

  This is a truly out-of-the-ordinary Ziggy item!  It is a bisque bell with a long gold-colored metallic chain, at the bottom of which hangs a bisque figure of Ziggy.   The bell has a red ribbon tied for a handle and says "Merry Christmas 1980" in red cursive lettering.  Ziggy is shown all in red, wearing a Santa Claus hat with two holly leaves in front.  This item is 9" from top to bottom and is in nearly perfect condition.  It was manufactured in 1980 by WWA.

ZIGGY Valentine's Day plate

  This is an 8" porcelain collector's plate showing Ziggy celebrating Valentine's Day.  He wears a red shirt and holds a bouquet of red hearts in both hands, off toward his right side.  The plate is in mint condition and remains sealed inside of its original box.  The box's cellophane is present but torn on front, although the plate inside is in perfect condition.  This item was manufactured by American Greetings in 1980.
