characters, including Li'l Abner, Daisy Mae, Mammy Yokum, and this one of Pappy
Yokum. (We have one or two of the others in stock at this time as well.) Pappy

and tan boots. This item stands 7" tall and is in near mint condition.
There are a few tiny specks of paint missing on the back of Pappy's shirt and some light

PAPPY YOKUM (Dogpatch / Al Capp) doll
This is a
13.5" vinyl doll of Pappy Yokum, originally manufactured along with Li'l
Abner and Mammy Yokum counterparts (which we also have in stock at this
time). Pappy Yokum wears a red-and-white striped cloth shirt, a turquoise
felt vest, blue cloth pants with a yellow yarn-like belt, and brown soft
vinyl/rubber boots. He is complete and free of damage, with minor paint
loss on his goatee and hair. He has a small stain on his vest, as seen in
the photograph. This might come off with a careful cleaning, but we did
not try that for fear of damaging the vest. Pappy Yokum retains his
original manufacturer's label, which is in great shape and sewn securely into
his left hip. It shows that he was manufactured by Baby Barry Toy.
This is a 1950s item that, overall, is in NM- to NM condition. If you

PATTY (Peanuts) pinback button
This is a VERY
rare, vintage-era pinback button of the now-defunct Peanuts character,
Patty. Since the character was discontinued from the comic strip fairly
early on, in all likelihood, this is a 1950s item. The button itself is
1" in diameter and was part of a much larger Peanuts character set. We
currently have Shermy, Violet, and Linus in stock as well. The Patty
button is a yellowish-cream color with a black image of Patty's face, smiling,
and with a bow on the right side of her hair. The copyright information is
provided along the lower rim of the button. It does not indicate who made
this item, though. This item is in nearly perfect condition, with only
tiny, minor signs of discoloration appearing underneath the plastic overglaze.

shown bent over his red baby grand piano. This item probably dates to the
1970s or 1980s and there is no indication of who made it anywhere on it.
It has no paint loss and appears to have been used, but only a few times
before. It has some wear along the right side and a small piece missing
out of the upper right-hand corner. (One suggestion: If this item
were framed, the corner could be made wholly inconspicuous and the bulletin
board could be displayed or used without noticing the damage there.)
Overall, this item is in VG condition, downgraded primarily for the right side
and corner problems just mentioned.
