JEAN LaFOOTE (Cap'n Crunch / advertising) bank
This uncommon find
is a 7.5" vinyl bank showing Cap'n Crunch's nemesis, Jean LaFoote, standing
and happily holding a white sword with a yellow handle in his right hand.

hat and what appears to be a (snug fitting) replacement stopper is present
underneath his feet. This item was manufactured by Niagara Plastics
sometime during the 1960s or early 1970s. It is in near mint condition,
with minor paint loss, mostly on the top of Jean LaFoote's hat and a rough area
on the surface of his red tongue (clearly visible in the photograph) where the
paint and plastic were scraped (presumably by the previous child owner trying
forcefully to insert a coin into his mouth).
