BUGS BUNNY

This is a 4.5" PVC pop-up spring action figure of Bugs Bunny, who is shown sitting with his legs together, arms bent akimbo and perched on his hips. When the white rubber suction cup on which Bugs is sitting is pushed onto the black round base below him, the figure remains in place for a short while then pops up into the air. This item was made in 1989 (no manufacturer indicated) as part of a set that also included Porky Pig, Tasmanian Devil, and Yosemite Sam. It is in mint condition.

BUGS BUNNY with pearl figure

This is a 4" PVC figure of Bugs Bunny, who is shown standing on a tan sandy/dune area on the beach, holding a light blue pearl in front of him with his raised left hand. In his lowered right hand, he holds the empty blue oyster shell. Bugs is wearing an old-fashioned white-and-red striped, knee-length bathing suit. The black-lettering caption on the front of the base says Beach Bunny. This item was made by Applause in 1989 as part of a larger collection of Looney Tunes character items, each showing a different character with a different pose and an appropriate caption. This item is in NM+ condition.

BUGS BUNNY porcelain thimble

This is a 3" porcelain thimble showing Bugs Bunny holding a carrot in his raised left hand, with his right arm bent akimbo on his hip. He stands on a dirt-covered area with a green bush behind him. Bugs was made by Lenox in 1998 as part of a large collection of figural Looney Tunes thimbles. He is in mint condition.

BUGS BUNNY pencil sharpener

This is a 4.5" tall plastic figural pencil sharpener of Bugs Bunny. He holds a partly-eaten carrot in his bent, raised right hand and holds his left arm bent akimbo at the waist. Bugs stands with his right leg crossed in front of him at the knee. The sharpener mechanism is located inside of the black base, with the insert hole located beside Bugs' feet. This item was made in 1977 (no manufacturer indicated). It has minor paint loss on the belly and some small marks on the back. Overall, it is in EX to EX+ condition.

BUGS BUNNY trophy

This is a 5" plastic trophy showing Bugs Bunny's face inside of a yellow circle, with an oversized carrot behind him. The black-lettering caption on the front metallic face plate says Be My Bunny. This item was manufactured by Aviva in 1971 along with other desktop trophies of the Looney Tunes characters, including Tweety and Speedy Gonzales. This one is in mint condition and retains its original gold foil manufacturer's sticker on the back of the black base and its original red felt protective covering beneath it.

This is a 4.25" flat figural vinyl magnet of Bugs Bunny, who is shown with his hands together behind his back, leaning forward slightly, and staring off toward his right. He was made in 1990 by MCL as part of a 12-item Looney Tunes collection. Bugs is in NM+ condition.

This is a 2.75" square cotton cloth magnet featuring Bugs Bunny's smiling face. The background is red and the magnet has a white border. This item was made during the mid-1990s along with Daffy Duck, Sylvester, and Tweety counterparts, and there is no indication of who the manufacturer was. This item is in mint condition.

Behind him, there is a yellow art deco-style color swatch. This item was manufactured by Applause in 1988 along with Porky Pig, Sylvester, and Wile E Coyote counterparts. This item is in NM+ condition.

This is two versions of the same item, with the one on the left being 4" tall and the one on the right being 8" tall. They are puffy magnets, made of vinyl, featuring Bugs Bunny. He eats a carrot with his raised right hand and is shown with his left arm raised as if he's leaning against a wall. He has a smile on his face and his right leg crossed in front of his left leg at the knee. These items were manufactured in 1977 as part of a large collection of Looney Tunes magnets of various sizes, and there is no indication of who the manufacturer was. The smaller magnet is in NM+ condition and the larger one is in NM condition.

This 4.25" vinyl puffy magnet of Bugs Bunny has an orange background. It shows him leaning against an invisible wall, chomping a carrot in his right hand. This magnet was made in 1976 (no maker listed) as part of a large collection of Looney Tunes puffy magnets manufactured in 1976 and 1977. It is undamaged and in NM+ condition.

This is a 1.5" tall by 2.5" long PVC figure of Bugs Bunny, who is shown resting on his side, with the weight of his head resting on his hand. In his right hand, he holds a carrot and he has his right leg crossed at the knee over his left leg. Bugs is a hand-painted item that was manufactured by the German company, Bully, in 1983 as part of a larger collection of Looney Tunes character figures. He is in mint condition and retains his original manufacturer's gold foil sticker underneath his belly/side.

This is a 3.75" PVC figure of Bugs Bunny who is shown dressed as a vaudeville showman. He holds a yellow straw hat in his raised left hand and a long yellow cane in his bent right arm/hand. Bugs wears an orange vest, chartreuse jacket, and yellow bowtie. He was manufactured along with a Daffy Duck counterpart in 1988 by Applause. Bugs is in mint condition.

BUGS BUNNY making muscle PVC figure

This is a 3.75" PVC figure of Bugs Bunny, who is shown as a boxer--and not a very strong one at that!--trying to make a muscle with his left arm. Bugs wears yellow boxing trunks with a burnt orange belt and burnt orange boxing gloves on both hands. He is facing left and his left bicep has become a valley as he tries, unsuccessfully, to pump a muscle. Bugs was made by Applause in 1992 and is in mint condition.

This is a 2x3.25" PVC figure of Bugs Bunny, who is shown relaxing and enjoying a carrot. He holds the weight of his head in his bent and raised left hand, holds a partly-eaten carrot in his raised right hand, and has his left leg resting atop his raised, bent right leg at the knee. This item is one of many Looney Tunes figures that Applause manufactured in 1988. It is in mint condition.

This is a 3.25" composition Christmas ornament of Bugs Bunny, who is shown standing with his right leg crossed in front of his left leg at the knee, left arm bent akimbo at the waist, and holding a carrot hear his mouth in his right hand. Bugs is shown looking off toward his left. He was made in 1982 along with Elmer Fudd, Honey Bunny, Porky Pig, Sylvester, and Tweety counterparts. There is no indication of who made this item, although it is possible that it was Gorham. Bugs is in mint condition.

BUGS BUNNY gripping figures

This is a set of three 4.25" gripping Bugs Bunny figures. These items are in mint condition and have never been removed from their original cardboard holder. Each one has a right arm poked through a hole in the cardboard, with the body being on the other side of the card. Bugs is made of lightweight plastic and is covered with flocking. He has a soft cottony tail, glued-on ears and facial features, and small plastic whiskers. He was made in 1979 by MAM JIN Industries along with a set of Sylvester hugger figures.

BUGS BUNNY pop-up wristwatch

This is a 4" plastic pop-up wristwatch featuring Bugs Bunny. It has a blue cloth band and an image of Bugs' head as he chomps on a carrot held in his right hand. There is a small button on the carrot that, when pressed, causes the time to pop up from the blue box backing Bugs' head. This item is in mint condition, still contained inside of its original 10x4" plastic encasement. It was made in 1986 by Unique Packaging Corp. as part of a set that also included Daffy Duck, Sylvester, Tweety, and Yosemite Sam.

This is a 3" PVC Christmas ornament showing Bugs Bunny dressed as Santa Claus. He holds his left arm bent akimbo on his waist and is waving hello with his red-mittened, raised, bent right arm. This item was distributed as a promotional giveaway by Arby's fast food restaurants during the 1988 Christmas season, along with other winter-themed Looney Tunes character ornaments. Bugs is in mint condition.

BUGS BUNNY Christmas ornament -- on television

This is a 4.5" plastic resin Christmas ornament, showing Bugs Bunny casually resting on top of his wooden television console. He wears a blue nightshirt with yellow stars on it and a red Santa Claus cap on his head. He holds his head with his bent right arm, has a carrot in his raised left arm, and has both legs crossed at the knee. Bugs has a plate of carrots and a partly-drunk glass of milk in front of him. This ornament is in mint condition and comes with its original box. It was manufactured by Matrix in 1997 as part of a large collection of Looney Tunes character Christmas ornaments, and I have most of the others in my collection as well.

BUGS BUNNY Christmas ornament -- carrot rack

This is a 4.5" plastic resin Christmas ornament showing Bugs Bunny checking the vintage on his gold carrot, hand-picked from his own green lattice carrot rack (just like a wine rack, but filled with carrots rather than wine bottles). He sits with his legs crossed at the knee, gold carrot in hand, and a Santa Claus cap on his head. Below the carrot rack, there is a red crate that says Season's Greetings on it in white lettering. This ornament is in mint condition and it retains its original box and its original clear-plastic protective insert. Bugs was manufactured by Matrix in 1997 as part of a large collection of Looney Tunes character Christmas ornaments.

This is a 3.75" plastic resin Christmas ornament showing Bugs Bunny as a filmmaker. He wears a red, white, and blue baseball cap on his head and is shown with a large celluloid strip between his legs. He holds it with one hand and is cutting it with the red scissors in his right hand. Bugs is shown sitting in front of two reels of film, atop a movie scene marker. The marker shows that they are in the process of filming scene 12, take 25 from Sylvester and Tweety's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. This ornament is in mint condition and still has its original box and original clear-plastic protective insert. Bugs was manufactured by Matrix in 1996 as part of a large collection of Looney Tunes character ornaments.

He holds onto the "sled's" reins with both hands and has a brown sack of gifts and carrots behind him. This ornament is in mint condition and still has its original box and its original clear-plastic protective insert. It was manufactured by Trevco in 1999 as part of a larger Looney Tunes character Christmas ornament collection.

BUGS BUNNY Christmas nodder

This is a 7.25" heavy-duty resin nodder showing Bugs Bunny wearing a Santa Claus hat. He holds his left arm bent akimbo at the waist and is holding a carrot in his upwardly-bent right hand. Bugs' ears flow behind him, which is the main difference between this nodder and the more common one that was distributed around the same time. Bugs Bunny stands on a black oval base bearing his name in green raised-relief lettering. He is in mint condition and still retains his original box. He was sold along with Sylvester and Tweety counterparts in the Warner Brothers Studio Stores in 1995.

This is a cast-iron Christmas stocking hanger featuring Bugs Bunny. This item is nearly 7" tall and shows Bugs Bunny wearing a Santa Claus cap and coat, holding a large carrot wrapped in green ribbon underneath his left arm and holding a blue gift with a yellow ribbon and bow in his raised right hand. He stands on a green rectangular base with a red face plate area. This item is in mint condition and was manufactured in 1998 by Midwest of Cannon Falls along with a Tasmanian Devil counterpart.

This is a 5.5" figural wax candle showing Bugs Bunny as a drum major. He wears a tall red hat with a gold "B" on it inside of a blue oval, a blue jacket with yellow-and-gold epaulettes and white-and-gold stitches, white pants with a silver stripe down the sides, and black shoes with silver-and-gold bells on them. He is shown marching with a large red tunnel-banner-style Drum with gold cymbals and a maroon wreath on top. This item is in mint condition and still has its original box. It was made in 1996 by Matrix as part of a larger Looney Tunes candle collection.

BUGS BUNNY holiday light

This is a 7.75" vinyl holiday light showing Bugs Bunny as Santa Claus. He waves with his raised left hand and holds a green sack on the floor behind him in his right hand. Bugs' ears are bent forward and he wears clunky black boots. He is in mint condition and stands atop his original box, which contains his electrical cord. Bugs was manufactured by Minami International in 1997 along with Tweety and Tasmanian Devil counterparts, as well as Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, and Pluto from the Walt Disney studio.

BUGS BUNNY cardboard lamp

This is a 21" lamp showing Bugs Bunny as a showman. He wears a yellow straw hat with a blue band, a yellow jacket, and a blue vest. He stands holding a black vaudeville cane in his hands. Bugs himself is two-dimensional, made of cardboard. He retains his original lamp shade, which is extremely rare. The lamp shade shows Bugs Bunny holding a carrot, Daffy holding a washtub full of carrots, Wile E Coyote holding a knife and wearing a big, the Road Runner looking at Wile E, Pepe LePew smelling a blue flower, Yosemite Sam running with his guns blazing, Speedy Gonzales with his arms outstretched, Sylvester bent forward looking at Speedy, Sylvester Junior behind his father trying to get his attention, and Tweety flying over Sylvester Junior with an alarmed expression on his face. This item probably dates to the later 1960s or earlier 1970s, and the copyright information does not indicate who made it. There is a crease in Bugs' cane and one small one in the shade, near Yosemite Sam. Otherwise, this rare item is in great shape--NM- overall--and it works too.

BUGS BUNNY ceramic figurine

This is a 6.5x11.5" ceramic figurine of Bugs Bunny, who is shown resting on his left side, holding his head on his upwardly-bent left hand, legs crossed at the knee, chomping on a carrot held in his raised right hand. Bugs is shown smiling and looking upward. This item bears a 1975 copyright marking and probably was a craft store mold product, made for people to purchase unpainted and then take home to decorate. Bugs is free of damage but he does have some paint wear, leaving him in EX to EX+ condition overall.

BUGS BUNNY water pistol

This is a 7.5" plastic water pistol showing Bugs Bunny with an enlarged, smiling head/face. He has a red nose, red mouth, pink inner ears, and otherwise is very pale grey and white in color. The plug for the water is located on top of Bugs' head, in back, and the trigger is located just beneath his chin. This item is free of damage and has minor paint wear on Bugs' nose. It is in near mint and working condition. This item was manufactured by Durham Industries, probably during the late 1960s or early 1970s.

BUGS BUNNY poster -- through the years

This is a 28x22" poster showing Bugs Bunny as his caricature has evolved over the years. In the top right, he is shown as he appeared in his earliest cartoons, in 1940. The top center shows him sitting, looking as he did in 1941. The top left shows his face, from 1942. On the left center, Bugs stands with his hands behind his back, as he looked in 1951. In the bottom left, he holds a sword and looks over his left shoulder, appearing as he did in 1958. In the bottom center, we see his bust, in a 1961 image. On the bottom right, he wears a vaudeville showman's outfit, as he appeared in 1973. Finally, in the center, we see him reading The History of Bugs Bunny, showing him as he looked in 1987. This poster is in NM+ condition and was manufactured by One Stop Posters.

In 1988, Colgate released a set of six children's toothbrushes as part of its Bugs Bunny and Friends series. This is the Bugs Bunny item from that set, which also included Porky Pig, Tweety, Sylvester, Daffy Duck, and the Road Runner. Each item is 6" tall. This one has a clear red sparkly handle and bears an image of Bugs Bunny standing with both arms bent akimbo on his hips. This item is in mint condition and is still sealed inside of its original packaging.

This is the Bugs Bunny item from that set, which also included Porky Pig, Tweety, Sylvester, Daffy Duck, and the Road Runner. Each item is 6" tall. This one has a clear red sparkly handle and bears an image of Bugs Bunny standing with both arms bent akimbo on his hips. This item is in mint condition and is still sealed inside of its original packaging. It is mounted on a 3.5x9.5" cardboard mounting card that has a film-style strip of characters appearing on the right-hand side, showing each of the characters in this toothbrush series in one frame of the film.

BUGS BUNNY Uncle Sam doll

This is an 11" firmly-stuffed doll showing Bugs Bunny dressed as Uncle Sam, complete with a red-and-white striped top hat with a blue brim with white stars, a red-and-white striped bowtie, and a red jacket with blue lapels with white stars on them. The doll was manufactured by Dakin as part of its Fun Farm set in 1976, in celebration of the American Bicentennial. The doll comes with its original cardboard hang tag and its original manufacturer's label, which is sewn into the back of Bugs' left leg. The doll is in near mint condition, with no damage and some age-related dinginess/dustiness of the material being its only flaw.

BUGS BUNNY molded face doll

This rare find is a 14" firmly-stuffed Bugs Bunny doll with a plush chest and plush back of the head. He is made with pale blue felt covering him, a purple felt bowtie, and he has a hand-painted molded cloth face. This doll was manufactured by M & H Novelty sometime during the 1940s. It comes with its original manufacturer's label, which is in nice shape and sewn into Bugs' waist. The felt has faded over the years and the chest/head plush has become quite dingy. Overall, this doll is in EX condition.

BUGS BUNNY hard sitting doll

This is a very rare find! It is a 15.5" firmly-stuffed cloth doll showing Bugs Bunny sitting on his haunches, holding a large cloth carrot with both hands. He has a felt covering, felt ears, and a green felt bowtie. This doll is in near mint condition and it has a hand-painted, cloth molded face. Bugs was manufactured during the 1940s by M & H Novelty, as indicated on the manufacturer's label that is sewn into his left side. This doll's a beauty and a very tough item to find.

BUGS BUNNY plush doll

This is a 20" plush doll of Bugs Bunny, who has glued-on plastic eyes and white felt buck teeth. He is shown standing with his arms by his sides, smiling sweetly. This doll was manufactured by Ace Novelty, probably during the early 1970s. The doll is in near mint condition, with surface dinginess of the plush and some minor paint wear on Bugs' eyes being the item's only flaws.

BUGS BUNNY stuffed cloth doll

This is a 17" stuffed cloth doll of Bugs Bunny, who is shown with both arms extended sideways from his body, with his tall, thin ears standing straight up. He has two white pompons for nostrils and white felt buck teeth. This doll is in near mint condition, with some surface dustiness being its only flaw. Bugs was manufactured by Mighty Star in 1971, as indicated on the original manufacturer's label that is sewn into his right calf.

This uncommon find is a 15" firmly-stuffed cloth doll of Bugs Bunny, who has a cloth, hand-painted molded face. He is made of beige felt with orange accents and a purple felt bowtie, and Bugs has a plush chest, plush arms, and a plush head backing. He comes with his original stuffed felt carrot and, overall, is in near mint condition. The doll was made by M & H Novelty sometime during the 1940s.

This is a 6.25" plastic trinket box showing Bugs Bunny from the midriff upward, smiling, with his arms folded across his chest. The box has a red top and a transparent red container area. It is one of several Looney Tunes character trinket boxes that were manufactured during the 1980s for distribution in the gift shops of New Jersey's Six Flags--Great Adventure theme park. This item is in mint condition.

This is a 20" lightweight plush doll of Bugs Bunny, who is shown standing with his ears raised and his arms extended sideways from his body. He wears a black felt bowtie, a red jacket with yellow buttons and a yellowish-orange lower hem, and black pants. The doll is in near mint condition, with age-related dustiness of the surface being its only problem. It was manufactured in 1971 by Mighty Star, as indicated on the original manufacturer's labels that are sewn securely into Bugs' behind.

This is a 20" lightweight plush doll of Bugs Bunny, who is shown standing with his ears raised and both arms extended sideways from his body. He wears a black felt bowtie, a yellow jacket with black trim, and pale blue pants. The doll is in NM to NM+ condition. It was manufactured in 1971 by Mighty Star, as indicated by the original manufacturer's labels that remain sewn into Bugs' rear end.

BUGS BUNNY pull-string talking plush doll

This pull-string talking Bugs Bunny doll is, unfortunately, mute--such a shame, considering that Mel Blanc himself recorded the voices for this particular doll! Bugs is 22.5" from top to bottom and he is made of a shaggy white and grey plush. He has a vinyl face and a stuffed felt carrot sewn onto his right arm. This doll was manufactured in 1964 by Mattel. It is in VG condition: NM but not currently functional.

BUGS BUNNY Six Flags advertising poster

This is a large advertising poster showing Bugs Bunny standing with his right arm bent akimbo on the hip, partially-eaten carrot in hand, while he holds an advertisement for Six Flags in his raised left hand. The poster measures 56"x34", and it was manufactured for the 1985 park season. It has been professionally framed and is in NM+ condition.

BUGS BUNNY plush hand puppet

This is a 15" plush hand puppet showing Bugs Bunny from the torso upward, with raised ears and arms that extend sideways from his body. He has glued-on felt eyes, eyebrows, nose, and buck teeth. The hand puppet is in near mint condition, with some age-related dinginess of the plush being its only flaw. This Bugs was manufactured during the early 1970s.
